The school arc was such a waste of time. It could have been so much shorter. The same goes for the stepmother. I understand they wanted to give space to the original JL vengeance, but it was unsatisfying enough that using less time would have been better. The exorcism and all that were so underwhelming

To me, the scene of his past made him even more repugnant. His family was destroyed by a corrupt official. And what did he become? The very thing he wanted to fight against. His entire family, including his mother and sister, are the same. After suffering injustice, they went and did the same things to someone else. PS. If being a loving husband means being able to kill her in a sadistic manner, then it is a very disturbing emotion he has, but it is not love. I thought I couldn't find him sleazier, but I was mistaken after these two episodes. 😅

The trailer was truly remarkable! The visuals and the overall look are just my style. The costumes are great too. I've been wanting to see Zhao Lu Si and Liu Yu Ning together again since Long Ballad, and I'm so happy that my wish is coming true in a drama that looks like it's going to be amazing!

He is the best ally Duke Su could have, so our ML just needs to continue walking the thin line with the emperor without ruining their ultimate plan and everything will be fine. 😅

Hope she will manage to punch him in his stupid face or, better yet, give him a kick between the legs. Duke Su could give her a few lessons in self-defense

Some of them look pretty bad, especially considering how theatrical and visually extravagant some scenes are in the drama. You'd think they would never approve posters that look so plain and seem like they were made with a collage app on a phone 😆

For all I know, he might have even targeted XFF when she was young and naive to use her father's position. He is definitely using the princess and enduring all the humiliation for some reason. I'm sure it is not only him being blackmailed and being a poor little guy. Let's just remember how he sadistically killed his wife! The only remorse he is feeling is from being scared of being caught. As for his feelings for XFF, of course he would miss a woman who was literally living only for him. He missed being revered like a king, now that he is treated like crap. He is an egocentric bastard nothing else
