Oh no, the happy family dinner. Doesn’t FL know what that signifies in cdramaworld 😨
😭🥲😂😂😂

Very happy with episode 25 minus the unnecessary flashbacks, but I’ll let that slide 😂.What truly made this…
he should cosplay as LS from time to time just for our emotional well-being. Mask or no mask I’ll survive, as long as the robes are flowing and his hat is there 😂

The hate of Emperor towards NanHeng stems from the very reason that NanHeng 'killed' the Chu empress, and so does…
the hatred was already there, rooted in the fact that he's half Gao. The Empress’s death didn’t cause it,it just gave it justification and firepower

Title A Dream within a Dream Spoiler
Finished one episode, another to go...
Very happy with episode 25 minus the unnecessary flashbacks, but I’ll let that slide 😂.
What truly made this episode satisfying is seeing the FL finally break away from the script both literally and emotionally. For the first time, it felt like she stopped playing a role and chose to live in that world, with her found family, embracing the warmth around her instead of staying detached like before. And for once, what she said to him wasn’t just another tactic to push him away or hurt him it came from a genuine place. Also, I’ve been side-eyeing the fact that he knew about the chancellor’s embezzlement and didn’t act on it. So watching him finally rip that burden off his shoulders it was like watching someone pull out a thorn that's been festering for ages. Yes, he’s hurt, but there’s also a sense of liberation. He’s finally choosing honesty, and in doing so, he’s not alone anymore. He knows there are people who truly care for him and he can finally be himself. So yes, I’m satisfied. Let’s see if episode 26 keeps up the momentum.

NH did change; he isn't the person FL is accusing him of being. Remember, the manager of the actor asked for script…
I think part of the issue might be that the actress was more focused on her own character and what NH was doing to her than on the full scope of the story. I also doubt the original script gave much depth to begin with, it feels like the characters were underwritten and now being re-shaped unevenly. But I agree, it’s time she starts seeing him for who he really is and not who she assumes he is. They both did wrong to each other. I feel they are now on equal footing and can finally move on from here

This comment section makes her look like the worst female lead to ever exist 😭
I think a lot of people are not really hating her, and their comments are mostly out of frustration. I am positive that from tomorrow we will have a comment section full of love for FL... I hope 😭😂 i mean the plot is plotting maybe in few episodes they will finally move from enemies to allies or friends (maybe, eventually) I'm feeling positive after so much suffering 😬

I don’t know who’s worse liuchang or the princess😭😭
They’re so deeply disturbed, it’s like they’re just two sides of the same coin, mirroring each other’s damage in opposite directions

Title In the Name of Blossom Spoiler
The misunderstanding trope dragging too long is OOC for both the characters and an insult to the understanding…
At this point, it’s no longer about a simple misunderstanding, the hairpin incident has long lost its weight. She’s already confessed her feelings, and he’s well aware of them. His decision to push her away isn’t rooted in doubt but in a misguided attempt to protect her. And she allows it not because she doesn’t care, but because she understands why he’s doing it. But that’s exactly what frustrates her. She’s not looking for someone who shields her through sacrifice; she wants a partner who treats her as an equal. Someone who trusts her enough to include her in the decisions that affect them both. By choosing for her, without her, he’s disregarding that fundamental need and for someone like her, that’s a dealbreaker. Still, we all know how these stories go, a moment of crisis, some emotional clarity, and they’ll finally come together. Hopefully not on the last 5 min of the finale 😂😭🥲

Ah, Miles Wei… that's how I know you're really doing your job: when I completely forget you're a charming, decent human being and can only see Liu Chang, the sleazy, self-absorbed piece of 💩 who activates my fight-or-flight every time he steps on screen. This is the kind of character who built a personal shrine to his own victimhood. Yes, life and his family did him dirty at some point, but let’s be honest: he took that pain and blamed everyone else while doing his own vile things. So truly, hats off, Miles Wei. You gave us a 2ML that made me want to throw a bomb at the screen and clap at the same time

We really got the buy one, get one free deal with this drama cliff-falling trope and amnesia trope in one go 😮‍💨…
I just watched the amnesia episode, so maybe that side of her becomes more visible later on I might end up agreeing with you once I see more. Right now she still feels a little 'off' to me, but I get what you're saying!

Li Shiliu’s entire concept art, wardrobe, and aesthetic was straight 🔥
because Liu Yuning didn’t follow the concept art, he was the concept art of LS 😬

I'm saying she doesn't feel like the same person she was before the wolves; she feels meek. As for her goals, those are always consistent, and I like that about her as a character. She never faltered about that

So, I watched episode 11 with terrible subtitles because I can't wait for Viki. MangoTV, you are so inconsistent,…
Okay… so everyone’s focused on the fact that once again the relationship gets pushed back and they’re still not together but honestly, what irritated me the most was the kidnapping. And the attempted murder. Like, seriously, what was Pei Zhong (was that even his name?) thinking? Why would he suddenly pull something so suicidal and stupid? In a drama where everyone else operates from the shadows, why would he step out and do something so openly stupid and self-incriminating? Logically speaking, what was he even hoping to achieve, other than serving as a lazy plot device to keep the leads apart again? If that’s the whole point, there were so many better and more coherent ways to go about it. The ML was already hesitant about accepting her help, and with the Emperor involved, it’s not like we needed a random kidnapping to make him emotionally retreat we were already halfway there (before he decided to confess his feelings). Now, I will say this: at least the way he told her to be free from him was written with some dignity. He didn’t insult her or treat her like trash just to push her away (like they always do in dramas). On her end, though, she’s clearly hurt. She knows by now that he cares, but what really crushed her is that he didn’t let her stay and fight beside him. He made the decision for her, and from her perspective, that’s unforgivable. But hey what do you expect when you’ve got two strong, emotionally damaged leads dragging around enough baggage to fill her Flower Garden? My only prayer at this point is that when they finally get together, we’re spared the tired break-up-before-the-last-episode trope. Like… they’ve done enough push and pull. When they get together, just let it be forever, please

We really got the buy one, get one free deal with this drama cliff-falling trope and amnesia trope in one go 😮‍💨 My biggest issue? When she woke up, she wasn’t even acting like the same person from episode 1. her behaviour was off

Finally watched episode 10
So I finally watched the imaginary love confession episode and yeah, I get why it pissed so many people off. I was mentally prepared, so it was just… whatever. Honestly, the whole thing was way too theatrical anyway, like he was auditioning for a drama within the drama 😅 I’m actually relieved that wasn’t his real confession. Now moving on to episode 11! ps. as well I'm happy she told him how she felt when she was drunk so at least now he knows that

I’m not watching until it’s all out, but I’m watching some clips. Can someone tell me if County Princess…
I don’t think it was ever properly fleshed out. Maybe she just didn’t want to get pregnant with her first husband, who knows? The physician did say that after the horse incident, it would’ve been difficult for her to bear children. And since she was unconscious at the time, I doubt she instructed him to lie about it
