At this point this series is rage baiting me every episode Unlike TPOB that was light
it’s billed as a comedy, but I’ve never trauma-bonded with fictional characters this hard 🥲🤣😅ðŸ˜ðŸ˜…🤣 Don't know whether to laugh or cry 🥲
right.. when all of us getting excited after depressing scenes... sigh....
At least the plot is finally moving, took them long enough! I genuinely thought we were doomed to spend eternity in Misunderstanding Purgatory. Sure, they didn’t actually talk it out (because why use words when you can suffer in silence, stutter, stop talking mid sentence or walk away?), but hey, I’m just happy the main plot is finally crawling forward. ps. maybe NH wasn't lucky in many things but surely he has amazing masked friends
All right, I just made it easier for myself. I decided to watch 24 kind of skimming through it understanding the…
Don’t worry, you can binge all the way up to the latest episode without losing your mind yes, there’s drama between the leads (as usual), but at least it feels like they’re finally laying the groundwork for some resolution (fingers crossed for tomorrow 🤞). Episode 24 ends on a cliffhanger, of course, because why not keep torturing us? But honestly, you can already imagine how it’ll go down, as well cliffhanger not related to the leads relationship but the plot
Oh come on, they really had the audacity to cut it off right at the best part?! I swear, this is psychological torture. How am I supposed to wait until tomorrow like a sane person?
Nightwalkers live or die together...I dont like this...ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜
The Nightwalkers as a collective are my absolute favourite character. Not one of them individually I mean the group as a whole, so hope they will arrive alive to the end
Because of the script, I too would have thought that she would blame the sister as well!
let’s not forget in the original script, the FL was tricked by the ML and ended up falling in love with him. Now that our current FL (the actress who is a different person) has met the sister and genuinely likes her, it’s not surprising she assumes the sister was also manipulated by him in both timelines/realities/scripts. She doesn’t have any bias against the sister the only strong bias she brought with her was against the ML, because his scenes left the biggest emotional impact when she skimmed the original script. She probably didn’t even read it that carefully, so now she might be thinking: 'Wait, maybe the sister was always good and just got used by the ML like the original FL was.' From her perspective, he’s still playing the same manipulative role
This drama just pissing me off lately. Honestly considering dropping it
Maybe just wait a few more episodes to drop. that way you can binge it and power through the parts that are currently pissing you off. Ongoing dramas always make you pay the emotional toll of cliffhangers and misunderstandings in installments😅
Yes. They love to misunderstand HER and bash her on here! Their bias for him is strong. They forget that SYM has…
I think it’s definitely a cultural thing in some places, using a more childish or soft voice when talking to close family or partners is seen as cute or affectionate. But yeah, it becomes really off-putting when the character uses that tone with literally everyone around them expecially when paired with an annoyong personality😅 As for the bubbly-airhead FL trope… I thought we left that behind in 2012, but nope it just got downgraded to side characters now 😂 Usually a younger sister, random friend, or comic relief maid. At least it’s progress? Kinda? 🤔😉
Because she’s gotten to know her sister and genuinely likes her now. In the original script, the sister was…
In the original script, the ML was ruthless he used the FL to achieve his goals without remorse. But in this edited version, even though the events of the script haven’t changed much, his personality has. He’s clearly different now, more human and conflicted. The problem is, FL still carries the memory and judgment of the original version of him the one who was manipulative and cold. So she naturally wants to stay away from him and assumes the worst about everything he does. And because she’s now met her sister in this version and actually likes her, she believes the ML is once again tricking someone kind and innocent just like he did in the original story. She assumes her sister is being used by him, when in reality, he’s not even trying to use the Song family this time because he cares for FL for real this time. ps that is why she is not blaming the sister

Yes!! When I heard her speaking in the first episodes my ears couldn't believe it like, wait... is this a real voice that isn't a helium balloon or a 3 year old child?? 😳
Why is the FL only blaming NH and not her sister? In the script she read, her sister was in on the scandal but…
Because she’s gotten to know her sister and genuinely likes her now. In the original script, the sister was just a plot device with zero personality. So from her perspective, it probably looks like the "evil ML" is just manipulating people all over again, the same way the original FL was tricked by him (probably she thinks that even the original sister was tricked to love him) That’s my take, anyway. She’s clearly still very biased by the original script especially when it comes to him. He was the protagonist and made the biggest emotional impact on her, just in all the wrong ways. She didn’t like his character then, and it’s clouding everything she’s seeing now

I really like her voice! I’m guessing that’s her real voice too because if she were dubbed, they’d 100% give her one of those overly childish, squeaky tones 😅As for the character herself, I think most of the issue comes from the fact that we, as viewers, have this all-knowing perspective and we’re constantly bombarded with Nan Heng’s suffering. So in these never-ending misunderstandings, it becomes harder and harder to keep forgiving the FL. If this story were told only from her point of view, it’d be a completely different situation. People wouldn’t be so quick to judge, there’d be actual uncertainty about whether Nan Heng is pretending or being sincere. I just hope they solve this part so the plot can advance (not to romance just advance from here, romance can come later after they really get know each other)
- I thought that was fake amnesia. Some kind of scheme to throw off suspicion and danger while the FL recovers…
Last night I watched up to episode 21. Let’s just put aside the cringe cliff scene (they always look awful, I’ve given up). But that convenient (just to add drama) amnesia plot? Completely unnecessary. as well her post-amnesia personality didn’t even resemble her episode 1 self 🤔. Honestly, this show is packing more tropes than Dream Within a Dream, which at least knows it’s parodying them 😅. I guess MZY is acting as directed so I blame the director for her performance . On the bright side, LXY does pain and emotional wreckage beautifully as well as his signature 'unhinged yet weirdly attractive villain look'. I did feel shallow enjoying his misery… but in my defence, he was very pretty while suffering 😅
