No problem. If you want to have best experience with Chinese dramas. I suggest you to watch their costume dramas more. They are very great in costume dramas.

For Chinese modern dramas, many of them are also great. But their strong elements are still in Costume/Historical/Fantasy dramas.

Yeah, I watched most of costume dramas. So I watched both Full Length dramas and Short dramas + some Vertical dramas. You can check my recommendations in previous comments for costume short dramas with good quality.

After A Familiar Stranger and The Killer is Romantic era, the short dramas have improved significantly with more decent budget. They even have the same quality of beautiful cinematography with full length dramas. The sets & costumes, hairstyles, make up, and production designs are all good. For most of dramas that I mentioned, you can't even tell that they are 15-20 mins short dramas if you dont see the durations. Because the quality is almost the same with full length dramas.

Chinese dramas are THE BEST in costume dramas. It's their best specialty. Even Korean dramas still can't beat Chinese dramas in costume genres. Chinese costume dramas are more expensive, more glamorous + they have well designed productions with grand sets & costumes. The cinematography are also visually stunning, dramatic, and very beautiful. The casts are also very attractive with very good looking actors and actresses. Costume dramas like palace politics, game of thrones, battles/wars, noble families conflicts are exciting and there is no boring moments. The romance and chemistry are also very great with good kissing scenes.

No. I disagree 100%. Chinese dramas are THE BEST in costume dramas. It's their best specialty. Even Korean dramas still CAN'T beat Chinese dramas for this. Chinese costume dramas are more expensive, higher budget, well designed productions with GRAND SETS AND COSTUMES. The cinematography are also visually stunning, dramatic, and very beautiful. The casts are also very attractive with very good looking actors and actresses. Costume dramas like palace politics, game of thrones, battles/wars, noble families conflicts are exciting and there is no boring moments. The romance and chemistry are also very great with good kissing scenes.

Nowadays, many Costume dramas are not dubbed by voice actors. This is not the only one. We have so many Chinese dramas with real voice of actors and actresses. For example Love Like The Galaxy, Story of Kunning Palace, Kill Me Love Me, The Prisoner of Beauty, New Life Begins, The Guardian of the Dafeng, Flourished Peony, Blossoms in Adversity, Story of Minglan, Serenade of Peaceful & Joy, A Dream Within A Dream, amd etc many many more.

Don't get me wrong, but "Cancel culture" in China (and also South Korea) can affect her projects in the future. When public already had negative images of her because of baseless rumours, or some ppl wanna sabotage her, it will be a disadvantage for her in the long run. In worst case, i have seen some actors who got attacks from netizens or haters for their personal matters (they are not doing something illegal or guilty in the court), they got some side effects in their careers, for example many producers don't want to work together with them, many brands wanna cancel the contracts, and etc.

Anyone knows what will happen to Yu Shuxin dramas? And her upcoming dramas with Wang An Yu? The things are going wild for her. I am afraid that it will affect her dramas release.

And the subtitles are also very fast lol 😅

I enjoy watching dramas in normal speed 😅 what's the point of watching dramas if you want to double speed and missed most of the things? Plus you did that to ALL dramas.

Maybe because she is trying to be firm or something with her voice. But her natural voice is already high pitched. I think she should be dubbed with female lower voice but everyone already knew how Song Yi sounds. So, it will be another comments that will say they want to hear Song Yi real voice instead of dubber. There is no win win solution in this case. I also prefer to hear the actors and actresses real voice more.

He Yan fighting scenes are so good! What are you talking about? It's not about realistic or unrealistic. LOTFG is more realistic than Shadow Love.

Zhou Ye is more suitable for female general. Song Yi is too feminine and her voice is too high pitch. But as far as i know, Song Yi never disguise as a man like He Yan did.

2x speed? I am just wondering how you can watch that 😅 the whole speaking process will be so funny with double speed.

What? Singapore? All the casts and production teams are clearly from Mainland China.

The heavy competition among the actors forced him to take short dramas. Nowadays, short dramas have improved significantly with decent budget and good quality. There are some great short dramas with beautiful cinematography and decent budget such as Hard to Find, Provoke, Butterflied Lovers, A Familiar Stranger, Doppelganger, Love & Bid Farewell, To Love or To Defy, Love in a Dream, Always My General, Dawn is Breaking, Threads of Destiny, Money is Coming, and etc many more.

Caesar Wu and Wang Li Kun are another shocking cases when they had to take vertical dramas (1-3 mins) in their career to survive in this heavily competition entertainment industry.

I think she talked the lines normally. So i can't get what's the problem actually. But you already said the special conditions that you had so i try to understand your point.

Song Yi real voice is actually like that. From Joy of Life era, My Heroic Husband, Destined, Follow Your Heart, until now, she is always like that.
