I noticed that since 2023/2024, many short dramas put higher budget to create decent costume dramas. Their cinematography is very close or even in the same level with full length dramas. Usually, the duration is around 15-20 mins.

Why you suddenly become so mad? I just pointed out that there are indeed full length dramas with obvious Rebirth elements and the censorship still allowed it. Maybe they already changed the rules since around 2021/2022. Because 2023 - 2025 there are so many Rebirth dramas from both full length dramas and short dramas.

I didn't talk about Lost in Time. It's a different drama. I talked about "Lost Track of Time". It's Xing Fei drama with Zhai Zi Lu.

LOTFG removed Rebirth elements because they want to create different stories. Just like The Double and The Glory.

There are many full length chinese dramas with Rebirth elements in the stories . For example Story of Kunning Palace, Blossom, The Princess Royal, Si Jin, Lost Track of Time, and etc. And they indeed use Rebirth elements to going back to the past. The censorship still allow them to be aired without problem.

How about Si Jin and Lost Track of Time?

Scent of Time was also Rebirth drama. But the ending is like a dream in FL comma. And it pissed off so many people. After SOKP, the Rebirth dramas didn't use those ending tropes again to avoid censorship. Not a novel/book/fictional world. Not a dream.

The Princess Royal only let ML and FL said/questioned the situations to themselves like "Is this a dream? Why i am going back to my youth?". But the statement is only for ep 1. And the ending, they said, "if this is a dream, i wanna live in this dream forever." Something like that. It's a soft move and unnoticeable. Because many real ppl in this world also talked to themselves like that if something good is happening unexpectedly.

For Si Jin and Lost Track of Time, there is no opening or ending that indicate this is just a dream or story in fictional world. It just ended the story like other costume dramas.

For Blossom, also, there is no opening and ending about "dream or book story" as well. They wrapped the story with complete happy ending like other costume dramas.

There are so many great short dramas with decent budget nowadays.

Linmon sold international rights of A Dream Within A Dream to both iQiyi and WeTV/Tencent. So PLEASE, let WeTV global take MR broadcasting rights as well. I know it will be in WeTV Indonesia, but i am thinking also for other people who don't have VPN and they also want to see Xu Kai and Tian Xi Wei in MR with LEGAL platforms.

WeTV Indonesia have english subs and many other languages subtitles as well. There are Chinese (simplified), Chinese (traditional), Indonesian, English, Thai, Viet, Malay, and etc.

How about the other countries or regions? I hope WETV also can get the rights for global scale. Because most likely Moonlit Reunion will be released on Disney Taiwan and some certain regions only.

WeTV already confirmed they will also air the drama! So it's not exclusive rights for Disney.

Until now, I still can't watch JOL 2 because of Disney 🙄

Anyone knows which the official platform for this drama? I heard it's Disney Plus for international and I am scared because they usually bought exclusive rights but they didn't air it in many countries like Joy of Life S2.

As far as I know, AJTL is a female centric drama but I felt that both FL and ML have equal foots in the script level. However, LYN is recognized because of that drama. Before that, he always play supporting roles or 2nd ML.

Eh really? I don't have idea that his team have power to rewrite the script like that? Because he is not a liuliang until TPOB and ADWAD this year.
