I just gave it a watch and, honestly, I mostly have the same opinions as her. I thought it was a pretty fair review…
I know some of her points are valid. But the way she talked is so harsh. She said uneducated words like trash, garbage, stupid, idiot, moron, and etc to describe something that she didn't like. It's not funny or classy. She looks like a big hater for most of Chinese dramas at this point.
It's up to her if she likes or don't like certain dramas. Yes. I totally understand that. It's all subjective and personal. But her choice of words often made people heartache and it can ruin people's watching experience. I think she can deliver her reviews and critics well without using those words. Many people can't respect her mostly because of that.
However, there are many people who worked really hard in Chinese dramaland. Actors, actresses, production crews, directors, writers, etc. It's not easy to make dramas. At least, we should appreciate them with decent words.
Actually that's all subjective matters. Personally, I found that many Cdramas keep staying great from beginning…
I heard they cut 10 episodes from 66 to 56. But tbh, I will not realize the cut scenes if no one tell me about that. LLTG flow of stories are still very stable. Personally, I found the ending is good. They sealed the ending with kiss. They also had peacefully family gathering in military camp. We just need the wedding next for this CP.
Avenue X only appeals to a certain population. Everyone should understand that we're all at different stages of…
I understand your point. But from last Coroner's Diary review. She boils my blood successfully. Plus her blind fans supported whatever she said without watching it by themselves. She was overhyping ADWAD and dragging other dramas down at the same time.
I can't help but watching it because youtube algorithm always make her video appear on the top in my homepage 😑 and it's played automatically.
somehow I have a feeling that the rest of the episodes are gonna get butchered, there are so many cdramas that…
Actually that's all subjective matters. Personally, I found that many Cdramas keep staying great from beginning until the end such as Love Like The Galaxy, Blossom, The Double, Story of Kunning Palace, The Glory, Kill Me Love Me, The Prisoner of Beauty, Coroner's Diary, ADWAD, and etc.
This is Manchurian dynasty. That's why the hairstyle is like that.
If you want LONG HAIR for men, then you should watch Han Chinese-led dynasties costume dramas. Many costume dramas were set in Han Chinese-led dynasties such as Qin, Han, Song, Tang, Sui, Ming, Three Kingdoms era, Northern-Southern Dynasties, etc. They all have long hair for men.
There are so many great short dramas with decent budget nowadays. This is some examples of great short costume…
No problem. I love to give more recommendations to many people.
Hard to Find and Love & Bid Farewell have sad ending. But if you watch both of them (especially Hard to Find), you will understand why the writer decided to give tragic ending. There is no other choice in their situations.
Open ending = Dawn is Breaking, Butterflied Lover.
But many people translated Dawn is Breaking ending as happy ending. The ML was cured from poison and FL lived happily with ML until the end. It's like The Glory type of ending. We need to interpret them as happy ending but there is hidden clue about sad ending as well. If you want happy ending, then just ignore it. Basically, the production team wanna please both sides.
Butterflied Lover is more complex. The ending is more about TWIST. It's mind blowing and I can't spoil it for you. Hehe.
The rest of the dramas that I mentioned have happy ending.
And also both are adaptation from the same novel author. Actually, When Destiny Brings The Demon is already and…
Do you know the news about The Golden Hairpin and Love's Ambition? Why Tencent still delay those dramas release? Especially when Zhao Lusi is in the peak of her popularity now with live streaming. Tencent should release Love's Ambition soon.
I think you misunderstood my statement. I said there were no kisses for most of the show. Which means there were…
English is not my first language. So I misunderstood your sentence. But some other ppl maybe think the same like me because your statement is too complex.
Chinese dramas have a lot of kisses. And The Double also have some kisses in the drama. Yes other costume dramas have more passionate kissing scenes like Story of Kunning Palace kisses, The Prisoner of Beauty kisses, and etc. But The Double still have some soft kisses indeed. Duke Su and XFF also have wedding kiss in ep 40.
I don't understand why you said something like there is no kiss in The Double. It could be misleading to new audiences especially your review is the upper one.

If they adapted the whole novel with details, i guess LLTG will have more than 100 eps for sure.

She also slaughtered The Wanted Detective in the same video 😑

The ML is Zhao Yi Qin from Butterflied Lover!
I highly recommended Hard to Find. It's so tragic, beautiful and intense.

You can try to search the titles in your WeTV region.
Love & Bid Farewell, To Love or To Defy, Love in a Dream, Fortune Writer, Provoke, Love Behind The Mask, etc. They can be watched in WeTV.
There are many more great short dramas. Let me know if you need more recommendations from WeTV.
