just watched the first six episodes and it's super fun! plot is original, dialogues are funny and smart, characters are well-written, the pace and editing are quite ok, acting is very good too, it's really nice for a small romcom!
writing of this drama is actually really good, a lot of details i started noticing in episode 2!
all 3 leads have traumas (fl with her mum, ml with his aunt family, 2ml with his whole family), all of them distanced themselves from their family and don’t want to be associated with it! fl and ml have an unique relationship, despite not knowing anything about each other and rarely talking, they feel comfy and without noticing, they started feeling attracted to each other but because of the nature of their relationship, they didn’t realize or decide to act on it! definitely very interested in how she’ll get in a marriage contract with 2ml since she had an arranged marriage with his family which leads her to hate marriage, it’s definitely twisted and it’s for sure going to create some dramas later. i love how they used the cat to describe the two male leads, ml seems stressed while he’s actually calm, while 2ml seems cool but he’s actually very stressed… isn’t it interesting? and yes our fl has a lot of traumas, fear of abandonment, needs to be acknowledged, she has so many trophies and licences which means she feels the need to be competent in everything, appears very confident on the outside but isn’t in the inside and her best friend knows, she keeps talking about her beauty but she uses it as a weapon instead of “cherishing” it so despite her ego she doesn’t love herself (i think her mum was doing the same)… anyway all these details that make the drama interesting, i hope they’ll manage to keep this pace!
editing of the two first episodes was a bit messy, made the pace rushed and a bit hard to get into the characters but it’s ok since it gets better after (and you still get the story) i like 2ml a lot since he’s fl mirror (they’re both the typical republican possessive characters but simple-minded and with soft hearts lol), and even with his egg head i still find him super handsome !! allen is doing a good job, he fits well with cold characters, and i’m always in awe with how pretty li qin is, so far the plot is interesting and kept me watching 😊
honestly such a pity the production is very low and bad because the plot is definitely interesting, but between the extreme fast pacing, the terrible editing, the cheap costumes and the overused dubbing BIG SIGH, some of the shots aren't too bad you can tell sometimes they tried but the quality is just uhhh, it's like they're filming a modern drama except the setting is historical it just looks off you can't get into the story (i just saw it's bloody romance director, so yeah it's definitely an issue with the budget and the production company), it's a bit frustrating because since there are 30 episodes the plot could definitely be better executed (i'm sure they'll waste time with fillers) and the acting isn't too bad, i mean xing fei is hard carrying tbh, if you're her fan you can enjoy it a bit but arhh how much i wish she could play in a better production she deserves better
just finished watching the 56 episodes and i cried A LOT especially episode 51 💔, the last episodes pacing is really fast but you can tell the team tried their best to put everything while still making sense so i'll ignore that! lltg is a beautiful drama, definitely becoming my top cdrama, i'm still a bit emotional so i don't have a lot of words on mind right now lol (i might repost a comment later) but how much i wish we had one more episode where we see them in their house which she drew and on the land he bought for her with their kids 💔 but it's ok since it ended on a positive note so the rest is to our imagination! the drama was an adventure full of emotions which made wait every tuesday of this summer impatiently, i'm going to rewatch the last episodes again later but i'm already missing the cast, i really hope we will see wulu in another drama together in a few years!
xunfeng 100% not staying loyal, even if he knows why dfqc did it now it won’t erase the pain, the brotherhood is just momentary i don’t think they can fix their relationship it’s been broken for too long. since dfqc is going to lose hellfire pretty sure xunfeng will be eager for the throne again but he’s probably going to realize later he’s indeed too weak against the fairy realm and wants dfqc to get back his hellfire. for sure they’ll find another way for him to get back his hellfire/power than killing lanhua, but his brother will tell her it’s the only way, tricking her and she’ll do it, so dfqc can suffer the same way he did when he killed their father… i don’t think xunfeng will have a happy ending

i don't know the art director but i'm assuming they might be working in stellar pictures since they're also producing the drama "love you seven times" and if you check the sets and costumes you can tell it's from the same company so perhaps you'll find the art director while checking them!

- i was also wondering tbh, i came to the conclusion since she fought against him a few times already she knows now his way of attacking so she was quick enough to transform and since a butterfly is small she managed to avoid it and not get impacted, contrary to rong hao the hellfire didn't directly hit her body if you see what i mean! also rong hao got half of his cultivation removed since he saved changheng so that's probably another reason!
- i was quite surprised as well lol, apparition of a new villain as if our main characters don't have enough troubles lol!! in earlier episodes i asked myself where did rong hao evil powers come from since he's from shuiyuntian so it makes sense he borrowed someone else strength and looks like he even made a deal! from this scene it looks like the evil god "tai sui" got defeated by "taiyi", and we don't know from which clan this taiyi person comes from but i'm assuming perhaps from xishan? since rong hao mentioned about bringing lanhua aka xiyun reincarnation there and probably free taisui to break the realm
- god of war is actually not weak at all it's just dfqc that is too strong and unbeatable haha

lanhua isn't stupid or without any common sense (she does have less than a "normal" person however because of her background) it's more that she's very slow to understand some things since she's incredibly naive and doesn't see the wrong nor the harm. she actually doesn't know dfqc would die if she dies, she doesn't take his words literally and thinks he's just being unreasonable with her because he's the moon supreme, she didn't suspect his good actions toward her were because of the heart curse and thought he was being kind (that's how pure she is) she only understood recently about him feeling her emotions because he properly explained to her but she doesn't know yet about her body. when she was in his body she tried to act like him but she had a hard time doing so because she doesn't have a spark of evil in her, she didn't even consider she would betray herself she was confident "it should be ok" because she's naive and doesn't think much. about shuiyuntian she thought "why would they torture me again since i'm innocent, the first time was a misunderstanding after i explain to them they will understand" she's just slow and also worships shuiyuntian where in contrary she believed the cangyan sea is similar to hell a place with only evil people with ill intentions, "shuiyuntian = good, cangyan sea = evil" this is what she was implanted in her brain and she never questioned things since she never traveled outside of shuiyuntian. more than naive she's credulous, she ends up by understanding everything after 2/3 times and also realized in the last episodes neither cangyan sea and dfqc are like the rumors and there is more to what she was taught, so yeah she's just very slow to realize things since she's crazy credulous and gullible but she comes to understand things after some times so she's not stupid. her bubbly personality is a good thing because it's also the reason why she never held grudge against dfqc or changheng and move on really quick! if you notice changheng is also almost the same than her, despite being powerful he's actually weak and naive (just look at how he fell in love with lanhua, it's so "pure" and simple) he was even more brainwashed than her and this is why he went to fight the "evil" clans to "protect shuiyuntian", however he's realizing through his brother that the heaven rules are unfair and he decided to almost rebel to save her (what a hero lol!) rong hao already realized how hypocrites are shuiyuntian when he lost the goddess of war, and even danyin is slowly walking on this road since she didn't agree with what happened to lanhua and helped changheng.
