Guys, I'm scared. I read on the Wikipedia page for this drama that Yeon Hwa (the bratty Princess who lives at 8th Prince's residence) marries 4th Prince Wang So :(
I don't really get that, considering she's at least his half sister, but I am still worried.
Edit: just checked it again, the bit I read about her being Wang So's wife is gone so maybe not after all! However, stupid me looked at the Wikipedia page for Gwangjong (Wang So's name on becoming king) and his queen is also his half sister.
Funny side thought I had: if Ruoxi saw Hae Soo crying like that in the forest, I feel like she'd smack her around like she did to Mingyu at 10th's birthday banquet.
(I really do like Hae Soo but sometimes she's a bit much for me.)
i have not start on this yet for fear that my heart aches while waiting each week :P can someone highlight to…
Similarities:
- a time-traveling female protagonist (whose boyfriend also cheated on her with her friend)
- the king with his several princes
- the girl living with her female relative who is married to the 8th Prince
- same throne struggle
- generally the same love triangle of 4th, 8th and the main girl
- the girl's relationships with 10th, 13th and 14th princes
- 4th Prince's cold relationship with his mother who favors 14th Prince over him (and in this version, there's another brother Prince)
Other than that, the storyline has different events, new characters and different relationships between characters but seems to be going along the same lines as the original. But that's all I can tell so far in the 3 episodes and trailers that have been shown.
(Your heart really does ache though! It might be because of his storyline or his looks but Lee Jun Ki is really improving my opinion of 4th Prince from the original. Also, 8th Prince is much more likeable/really lovable compared to Kevin Cheng for me!)
I'm watching the first episode now, and the stylistic mashup between Kim Kyu-tae's usual directorial style, the…
Yes, the OST is modern for a historical but you have to remember that our protagonist is a modern day girl. Personally, I find the music fits quite well.
Nope, there are two 1 hour long episodes out! I put the links above in my post above this one. It must be a special for the first day as JoJo said. (I'm so not mad about it tho, episode 2 was even better than episode 1)

Watching the live stream and while I can't understand a word, it is so beautifully shot!
Edit: oh boy, oh boy, this drama is so good, I was riveted the entire time! My first LJK drama and I'm already in love. This is my new drama crack.
I HATE that Ha Won had to be rescued like some damsel in distress. She didn't even try to free herself, she just…
I really have to agree. Ha Won's strength is what made me love this drama to begin with but it seems that her character is only designed to be strong when not around Ji Woon.
6 episodes in and I am very strongly Team Secretary Ahjussi!
I just hope he doesn't turn out to be in love with the Chairman's wife or anything. I'm all for noona-dongsaeng romance usually but not this time. Maybe he's a secret son or something?

I hope they don't draw out the hidden identity for too long >.<

There doesn't really seem to be a Min Min so far; not sure if they included that storyline.
