Okay now I'm beginning to feel bad for Seo Woo. Who hasn't been in that position where they're being pressured like that? Of course, there's no excusing her (most times) irrational behaviour but she does have a tough life where her dad is concerned. I hope she gets to tell him to stick it where the sun don't shine by the end of the drama.
Also, Yoon Do - you adorable dork of a giant. I wish Hye Jung had told him upfront she didn't think of him like that. I get that his confession blindsided her but still, the guy's getting strung along even if it's unintentional.
An entire movie with a girl studying really hard and no nose bleeds! K-dramas should take note.
No, but on a more serious note, this was a really wonderful movie. Like one of the comments said, if you're feeling down about studying or like you can't do it anymore, this is a really nice pick-me-up. As a student myself, I know I related to a lot to Sayaka. Giving this a 10 because it's that good! Also, the awesome teacher who believed in her till the end - he deserves that 10 too! I've been lucky to have teachers like him and I wish there could be more like them.
lee sung kung is'tt suitable for doctor role, she had this immature, cute unresponsible air to her behaviour which…
I agree that it's not Lee Sung Kyung's fault, maybe a casting director or even the writers for making her seem that way, but then also consider that lots of people who become doctors/neurosurgeons and are older are sometimes immature too, despite the things they've seen and studied and been through. Particularly if, like Seo Woo, you have connections that help you get to a fellowship.
Am I the only who is loving Lee Sung Kyung as Dr Seo Woo? When she lost her favourite patient as a student nurse…
I get what you mean but Seo Woo's constant need to be blameless in every wrong she commits irks me to no end. But I think Lee Sung Kyung plays Seo Woo well, it's just the character that annoys me with her attitude, particularly as she, as a person, has all the potential (and connections, something Hye Jung doesn't have) to do well if only she wouldn't count the things she didn't have. If Seo Woo could stop comparing herself to Hye Jung and putting down other people to feel better about herself, I'd like her a whole lot more.
A surprising find on Netflix and I couldn't be happier that I found it! I loved every short light-hearted minute of it. If you're a fan of many guys to one girl like I am (think all the classic favourites like You're Beautiful, Boys Over Flowers, Astro's To Be Continued), then I think you'd like this.
Short and sweet and really well done! Definitely want to see more of these handsome guys in the future!
I wouldn't say Hye Jung is a bully like the synopsis says. She protects herself and others that she cares about. She really doesn't actively pick on anyone.
The romance is killed by the Wikipedia page for Gao Zhan. I blame myself.
That aside though, I really liked this drama! The romance between Ah Zhen and Ah Zhan was adorable even through their many ups and downs. I love how loyal the three main guys are; it's a rare find in a historical drama where you usually find the female characters being the steadfastly loyal ones (at least in the ones I've seen). Also, General Shen's dimples are addictive, be warned.
8/10 for me!

Also, so many good looking people in this, wow.
