Anyone know of other dramas/TV shows/movies like this? Where the villain is a creepy kind of attractive and is…
Thank you everyone for all your responses! Adding all of these to my to-watch immediately list! (I've seen Missing You and Harry was the best part for me, lol) Glad to know I'm not the only one :D

Anyone know of other dramas/TV shows/movies like this? Where the villain is a creepy kind of attractive and is a psycho? (Stalker/serial killer type)
For example, if anyone's seen the American MTV Eye Candy?
(These kinds of shows fascinate me. I know I have problems)

I'd really like to know more about our chef nim.. a character study, like what made him murder all those people…
I'm thinking that it's because of his prosopagnosia. It seems as though he can't form real and meaningful relationships with people. Look at how many people he has that are close to him - none! Cho Rim is the only person we've seen him interact with regularly (and before her, Chun Baek Gyun). He lacks a sense of compassion and guilt when it comes to killing and I think it comes from being unable to form a meaningful relationship. The bar codes seem to be his way of identifying these people and making them write down their memories in those books seems to be his way of getting to know them. It's almost as if those bar codes and books allow him to actually form a relationship, albeit a relationship between a predator and his prey.
That's kind of what I like about this drama - it's open to interpretation. I'm also hoping these last four episodes reveal a bit more about him. (If only for me to enjoy more of Namgoong Min's creepy attractiveness)

**Disclaimer: I am in no way saying that people that have prosopagnosia are destined to become serial killers. I mean no offense to those who suffer with the same disability. I'm just thinking that's the way it might be for Chef Kwon based on what I've seen of him.

As someone who's no k-pop or EXO fan, I'm enjoying this a lot. It's really cute & fun to watch!

I feel like the comments below pretty much sums up what I think of the drama but I'm at 8/47. Maybe it will improve? I hope.
I just don't want to drop it!
Also, I only just realized it's the same emperor and associated persons that were in The Sound of the Desert. That fact is not helping me warm up to this emperor. :/
Edit 1: 26 days later, and I'm stuck again at 17/47.
Edit 2: It's been over 2 months since I posted this comment and I'm stuck again at 21/47. Someone inspire me to finish this! Please!
Edit 3: I think I'm going to give up. I'm still stuck.

Well this really is the perfect drama to pick-up while waiting for the season 3 of Hannibal :D I think they were…
I thought the same thing! And whenever he's cooking, I'm a little bit skeptical. :|

WHOAAA.
Called that though. I started this drama for Nam Goong Min and from the time I saw the killer, I was like "...is that not him?" I stalk him on Instagram relentlessly so I had for recognize him. Also, when the dog started going crazy...yup! But then, I'm a big fan of these kinds of story lines. I love that twist though, shifting it from the doctor. Nam Goong Min is always the pretty face in a drama; I hope this role changes that :D
On My Secret Hotel Apr 18, 2015
Why don't I remember who the killer was? All I remember is the ending showing who ended up with who.

Person Namkoong Min
Are there any dramas, where he gets the girl? I really want to see that.... ^^
Haha, I was wondering the same! I'm afraid I don't know any either, having only seen two dramas with him but let me know if you find one! :)

Please note that anything I say ahead is not directed towards the writer of this article who I think did a very good job in writing this article. It's very detailed & I enjoyed reading it, even if I don't actually like the person being talked about. That being said, the following is my two cents.

"Innocent until proven guilty", "disputable scandals" - he's admitted to it & was fined for domestic abuse. Yes, he has apologized for it but the fact that he did it in the first place, that he would willingly be violent towards a woman he claimed to love, a woman who is now bearing his child - to me, that is unforgivable. Playful Kiss was also my first introduction to kdramas & Yoon Ji Hoo made KHJ my bias & then led me to SS501 where I went full on fangirl...until the news broke about the domestic abuse.

Goes to show how a person can be pretty on the outside & that I don't really know these actors I so look up to. Huge eye opener for me. No longer a fan. I only wish he and his fans weren't so blasé about the incident. Abuse is a real thing & should not be ignored.

Beautiful drama! Some moments are a bit long, but I guess that s the deal with historical dramas. Strong love…
Totally agree with Hu Wei Li! When he showed up in the last few episodes for like five seconds, I was too happy. Kind of wish I knew where he ended up (also if he ever fully gave up on Xin Yue!).

Excuse me while I cry into my cereal about my feelings and how much I'm going to miss this drama.
1st k-drama to leave me so entirely enraptured. This was pure brilliance. 10/10
