Ahh, the last few episodes on Viki are not subbed 100% yet D: if anyone seeing this is a subber, pretty please help out!

EDIT: They've been adding subs gradually so almost all have been totally subbed, thank you so much Viki subbers <3
Finally completed this drama! Despite having read and loved the book, I don't remember the ending being quite so sad. As sorry as I feel for Jiu Ye, I think in the end he did get that peace that he wanted if not with Xin Yue. I do however wish he'd have gotten a better ending. Maybe it's Hu Ge's sad puppy eyes I couldn't take.
I am pleased that Xin Yue and Wu Ji finally got their happily ever after. Overall, this drama was great and kept me on edge despite knowing what was coming. I'm actually kind of sad to complete it. Eddie Peng and Liu Shi Shi's chemistry is no joke. The OST is also brilliant - I love every single song and geez, the use of them in this drama at just the right moment has the ability to stab a fork in your heart and twist it like it's spaghetti.
I was thinking about writing a review for this but I feel like thebigdreamer's review covers it all.
Just for the main three actors and actress, I feel like this deserves a 10/10.
I'm going to pretend this drama ended at episode 9 where Hanae said yes to Asao.
I'm on the last episode and I highly doubt that's where it's going but after I finish this last episode and am disappointed, I'm going to erase it from my memory and just go with the above statement.
EDIT: Completed with a 6.5/10. It went exactly where I thought it would. Oh well, I'm fine with the ending. I just kind of hoped for better for Tamaki Hiroshi's character. He felt kind of wasted in this drama.
I GIVE UP on trying to not watch this drama. I was warned not to start until it finished airing but I'm sorry, it just looked so good! 4 episodes in, totally not disappointed.
Just waiting for episode 21 so I can see how it ends c: Lee Kang Joon is still a terrible person but I can't say I won't miss seeing Jung Gyu Woon's face twice weekly.
On a side note, Joo Sang Wook's blushing face is adorable.
This looks so good but I don't want to start and get caught up with waiting every week for an episode! A double dose of Ji Chang Wook a week is quite tempting though.
I can't understand why people think it's getting boring when I think it's - WOW!! XD This is few things that happen…
I know right! I actually quite like Min Hyeok in how he is towards Sara. I wonder what he's going to do when he finds out he warned Kang Joon off his own wife o.o
Considering the ending of Prince of Lan Ling, I don't see how Princess of Lan Ling is a sequel. A re-telling or an adaptation, sure - but not a sequel.
I seem to be the only one still enjoying this drama. I'm really loving Jung Gyu Woon's glaring, it's hilarious. 21 episodes? I don't mind as long as the ending's good. And by good, I mean a chubby Ahjumma-Doctor baby :3
I feel like I've been spoilt by the previous historical dramas I've watched where the emperor actually loved the girl before she became his concubine & there was this epic kind of love story from the beginning as in Scarlet Heart, Jang Ok Jung, Introduction of the Princess, & Empress Ki. Colour me surprised when "helping the emperor dress for bed" turned into...a lot more!
is it just me or is Jung Gyu Woon reaaaaallly sexy/ stalker-like when he slips into Sara's room in ep 14? nvm…
I really hope so :3 I mean, as much as I like Tae Hee, I kind of want to see Kang Joon and Min Hyuk interact with Sara some more. I am so sad we have to wait so long for episode 16. The anticipation is killing me!
