I'm good with the amount of more sexy scenes we got. Thinking about it now I think a full sex scene would have detracted from the tension between them. Also, Suzuki as we see in earlier scenes, is pretty untethered when it comes to moving quickly to sex. I haven't read the manga but I don't think Sugiki is so much. I'm personally a fan of sexual innuendo so I don't always need full sex scenes. I'm not opposed to full sex scenes I think a story can also hold up without them.
We need to remember Netflix is all about profit so this might have been a soft launch for more BL movies to come. They need to see a return on their investment to see if there's enough people internationally interested.
Post Note: I feel Covid isolation was to Kpop fan increase as Govt(US) chaos it to BL/LGBTQ drama fan increase. When there's a pressure to conform is when people want to break out. Kind of like the Footloose movie/Reagan era.
Well said my friend. Ppl expext all lovey dovey in bed to be a happy ending. I think who wants to understand...…
japanese dramas are notorious for open endings. It took me a long time to get over that. I like everything tied up in a bow. Now these guys' personalities aren't really lovey dovey they are more raw energy which I think was shown in the movie even if they were going at it rough. Sometimes sensuality is sexier
I've read so many comments where people complain about the open ending. Open ending? To be an happy ending, does…
I think the kissing in public was a pretty big deal especially in japanese society. Even in the US it's a big deal now with all the lgbtq negativity movement. And just reading about the manga the story goes through years of their relationship possibly on and off.
The ending makes me want a Chapter 2 but do we need a Chapter 2?
There was no orientation questioning angst both men leaned into their attraction to each other. Suzuki allowed Suguki to drop his gentleman person to his raw self while Suguki helped Suzuki soften from his rough persona. Isn't that what true partners do bring out the best of us and push us to be the best we can be without jealousy.
Does sound like it but I never thought of 35 as midlife. I thought 50 was midlife until someone told me it was…
I think a lot of men age themselves needlessly by not taking care of themselves properly like going to the doctor or dealing with stuff right away. Also, poor lifestyle choices. My dad lived 35 years longer than his dad from the same illness by taking care of his health more. That was 35 more years my parents had together.
The way Michelle chen looks like She's in her late twenties but actually is 43 needs to be studied 😭Whether…
A lot of it is genetics but some of it is lifestyle. Not drinking and smoking, etc can make the difference. And eating properly. I looked younger at her age too but at 42 I was running around after a 4 year old. Also, you can tell she really works out. She has calve muscles I'm envious of.
I'm thinking that Van has situational gay/biness meaning he is in so much need for attention emotionally and physically from his past loss that he's willing to ruin a good friendship and soak it in from Farm. The boy has major bonding failure issues because running off and not keeping contact with your boyfriend who you've known for years is a bad sign. The girls in his life kept dropping him because he has doesn't know how to maintain a proper relationship. Send Van off to therapy and give Farm a new love interest.
Lol, he is only 35 which is way too young to be talking like that, plus Kim Minha is only 5 years younger than…
The two male actors in Goblin who were about the same age when they completed that drama went into a depression about their age. Like their careers were over. It never made sense at the time.
