I don't know that site. From the first time I watching cdrama, all the platform tu discuss that I could find is…
Dramafever was an american site that got sold but the buyer Warners never set up the drama site they promised. The other ones just got shutdown. I stopped using x quite awhile ago. The only way I get drama info is on TT.
When I watch the scenes at the high school I keep thinking he entered the high school at 19 which is basically college age. He's a bit behind emotionally because the abuse from his uncle but she talks to him like he's a child. I really miss dramafever and dramanice/cool where there were ongoing in real time forum discussions.
There's a line in the korean movie Venus Talk that seems apropos(not sure if that's the right word) to this drama. The friend says to her friend about dating a younger man. He's old enough of to be your son. The friend answers but he's not my son he's someone else's son.
The FL looks young for her age(42) unless they are using some really great filming filters but I'm still curious what the production staff were thinking by choosing a much older actress than the ML. I'm only on episode 1 and so far it seems ok. Post Note: The age gap isn't an issue I'd just be curious about the decision making.
Uncle is a term of endearment in China.. it doesn’t literally mean uncle..
It's not just in the Asian dramas. My ex was from the middle east and so many people in the community were introduced as uncle or aunt. It made my daughter confused for awhile if she was actually related or not.
I tried watching because of the hype sadly it's not for me. I dropped after the second ep.
The 3rd episode is completely different than the first 2. The third episode is about another couple and they are more in the beginnings of a relationship. The only issue is one of the men has to keep it secret because he's on a hockey team so it causes issues between the two men
I liked the drama. It's a slow moving romance but it's more than a romance it shows people becoming more themselves and having a passion for their field of work. The cheating husband and the best friend will be irritating at the beginning but that will pass. The best friend didn't cheat with the husband but she did start seeing him after the FL and her husband divorced. The side characters are nice. It was 36 episodes and I think it could have been pared down to 30 but that's true of most Chinese dramas.
Some of the people involved in the burning sun/kakoa chat crimes didn't even get that much time. It's sad they are light of SA criminals but hard on people addicted to drugs. People can be full blown alcoholics and it's no big deal and can even use as a defense I didn't know what I was doing because I was under the influence.
I do not understand why people cheat, i mean why not get a divorce 1st then cheat. Instead when caught they start…
Some people want the family unit and side relationships. That's fair if a couple has agreed on an open relationship but extremely unfair otherwise. Some people especially men feel it's their right to have outside relationships as long as they are financially responsible for their main family. I agree with you just break off your relationship before starting another but it seems at least 50% of humans don't think that way.
I really don't understand the way some people are saying it to be 'boring'. MAYBE, JUST MAYBE for the first 1…
To me it's a natural drama. It shows a different way of moving into a relationship. Some people are comfortable with sleeping with someone right away while other people want to take it slow. They both want a serious relationship and don't want to make any mistakes that would cause any harm to their existing friendship. I was thinking how nice it is to just have good communication and hang out with someone.
