When I was thinking about this drama yesterday about the complicated age gap and dynamics of this fictional relationship It reminded me of a friend who has an age gap relationship. They met decades ago when she was 36 and he was like 25. They met because he was dating her roommate but her roommate cheated. My friend became friends with him after that which eventually lead to dating 6months later.
She was divorced and had come out of a marriage where her husband had been a repeat cheater and he was a sweet guy who had just come out of the military. I remember how she told me about some of the stories about when he was young and some of the immature things he did she had to put her foot down. Once she did he stopped.
Decades later he had become a successful person moved up with promotions and was a really sweet man. Just reminded me that sometimes out of complicated relationships a good relationship can occur. (also, it's me trying to forget the real age gap of the actors. I wonder with so many age gap actors working together these days if any of them catch feelings)
