Totally agree with this statement. I "watched" ep 43 without subs. I saw this drama and powered through it in…
The silent parts for me on Youtube were also when there were dialogues...on the whole the sound and the subbing of these episodes is absolutely terrible, which is a shame as the drama itself is pretty good.
On When the Weather Is Fine Apr 24, 2020
I couldn't wait to finish this drama and I am so happy that it finally ended!! I am amongst those who found this drama unbearably slow. I couldn't stand those long moments of silence in which the characters wouldn't talk or do much else but just stare at emptiness. So why did I stick with it? Purely for the beautiful mountain village setting and the relaxing feel to the drama. Otherwise as stated in one of the reviews here, it can be easily used as a help for insomnia...as I had to fight long and hard to keep my eyes open most of the time. I can't rate it with more than a 6 which goes solely to the choice of setting.
On Everyone Wants to Meet You Apr 19, 2020
After completing 40 C dramas this is the first time I came across a plot that seemed totally Korean and not at all Chinese. So many clichès here were exactly the same we find in typical K dramas and often I had to focus on the language to make sure I was watching something supposedly of another country. The only reason I stuck with it all was because I enjoyed the acting and the cast...I had never seen any of these actors who were totally new to me which was pleasant, as well as the beautiful settings starting from the castle in France. If the plot hadn't been so flat and predictable my rating would have been higher but I can't rate this with more than a 6.5.
Akage Girl Apr 18, 2020
I only watched six Taiwanese dramas out of the 435 seen so far and out of them my favourites were Meet me @ 1006 and Marry me, or not. I agree that they are light hearted but they are a tad too fluffy for my liking so I can only watch them once in a while...the term Palette cleanser sounds really appropriate.

Thanks for writing this article which I enjoyed reading. For what concerns the truck of doom I also always wonder why the victims don't quickly move aside when they see one coming at them but just stop and stare at it waiting to be hit!! It's soo unrealistic...

He did want to get married, he said that in interviews since ages ago. He said he wanted a wife "before turning…
Indeed, he probably didn't find the right person until now...they are right to take their time until they find the one. ;)
Ceki Apr 11, 2020
Lots and lots of congratulations to both of them! He was one of the K actors in the older range who didn't seem to want to get married. Now we wait for announcements from Gong Yoo, Hyun Bin etc. ;)
On Divorce Lawyers Mar 28, 2020
I watched this drama for a second time as it's really good, however unfortunately the episodes on Youtube, Hotpot TV and other streaming sites are all with really bad subtitling which most of the time is not synced or missing, and the sound of all the episodes goes on and off. I hope it will be available with proper subtitles and corrected sound soon for everyone to enjoy.

Thanks for this list. Lots of lovely dramas to look forward to and which will help us get through this difficult time we are all experiencing.

Thanks for this article. I am really fond of all these secondary actors as I have seen many of them for years in K dramas. There are many more out there and also actresses whom I really appreciate as they make me feel as though they are all a big family that we find again and again. I agree that it's also thanks to them that many dramas are as successful as they are as they would be pretty boring with the main leads alone.

If you watch this drama until the end you will see that the second lead is a real gentleman always helping the FL and her family in time of need and I appreciated the gentle way in which he pulled away at the end.
On Find Yourself Mar 15, 2020
I struggled through this drama as I found the plot totally predictable and with nothing original. I also didn't particularly enjoy both the characters of the OTP as they seemed quite childish and spoilt to me in particular the female lead who really didn't act, think or behave as a 30 year old but more like a teenager which was rather bothersome.
So what kept me going? The secondary cast : the parents, the brother, the second lead and her niece, her best friends (and their stories) and the office colleagues (and their lovely romance too). If it wasn't for them I would have dropped this drama because on the whole it had really nothing to write home about...oh, and I really, really shipped the second lead who behaved as maturely as his age and was a real gentleman throughout the whole story. So it's a 6.5 for me.

I had quite a lot of problems in understanding all the economic jargon and talk in this drama. However strangely enough I managed to enjoy it all the same as the acting here is absolutely brilliant. I had seen Lee Sung Min in older dramas but somehow his acting skills had never struck me particularly whereas I have to say here he really shone here as he managed to deliver his character's internal conflicts really well.
I also enjoyed Go Soo and Shim Eun Kyung's performances as well as most of the secondary characters (except for the American actressess whose acting wasn't as good IMO).
The story isn't straightforward and especially at the beginning it can be a little tiring to follow and try to understand all the dialogues, however I recommend to bear with it as the reward in the end is well worth it.
On Dr. Romantic Season 2 Feb 26, 2020
For me this second series was just as beautiful, as poetic, as well written and acted as the first one and I am going to miss this crazy hospital with all its doctors and nurses. I particularly appreciated everyone's character growth which involved not only the newcomers and the antagonists but also some of the old personnel too. A special mention of course to Kim Sabu who really shines here. Another full 10 for me.

This was an entertaining watch for me. I haven't seen the US original thererefore it was all new to me and I found it fun mostly because I enjoyed the team work and all their clever ideas to fight against evil. I watched it as a filler in between other dramas so I enjoyed the light break it gave me from other more serious plots.
I was surprised to see that the last three episodes came so close to what is now happening for real in the world with the COVID 19 virus, so it was as if the writers almost had a foresight of what was about to happen. My rating is of 7.5
On Crash Landing on You Feb 17, 2020
This was a really good drama for me for two reasons: the plot which I found to be particularly original, and different and the great cast that was put together. Not only the main leads were absolutely perfect with great chemistry, but everyone else fitted extremely well in their roles.
I was particularly fond of the team of NK soldiers and also of the housewives in the NK village and I really appreciated all the comedy moments that were probably intended to give us relief from the more serious and dramatic parts of the story.
Whether realistic or not it all made sense and it made me hope and pray for a quick reunification of the two Koreas. I am happy to rate it with a well deserved 10 and I will probably rewatch it in the future.
On Diary of a Prosecutor Feb 15, 2020
Enjoyable slice of life drama about prosecutors. My favourite parts were those concerning the team interactions and their friendship in the working environment. Recommended to those who are legal drama addicted.
