The same for me! and I didn't like that we had to watch LJX until the last episode. They should have get rid of him earlier, and focus on the main leads happy ending instead of him.

She ended up gravely injured and she heard "nobody cares when a woman dies" said by him. Her maid - who was like a sister to her - died because she was exhausted when helping her heal. She said that "I killed her" . I think that she was very shocked by the whole story, which has brought so much sorrow to her, and even caused the death of an innocent person. She must have thought, "We know good or bad by its fruit, and this relationship couldn't have been good, as the fruits of it were bad."

I agree, and this is why this series was worth to watch.

There wasn't any redemption. He put her in danger, and than "saved" her from the danger which was caused by him in the first place. But I wasn't happy with that scene either.

And to be honest, I would have gladly watched this series without this creepy, psycho ex crush, for me, the political arc would have been largely enough as main problem to resolve for the ML.

And I especially hated that their wonderful wedding was ruined because of this 3d wheel character.

You are right, I think at some point all MLs have to learn martial arts moves for the sake of movies. But it's only him and Hou Minghao who have that "scholar face" and the collected, internal strength look at the same time (that I've seen so far). Come to think of it, maybe it's how they are naturally. 🤔

Not enough imo, but they are so well matched together, that their scenes are amazing.

I rarely watch dramas , as usually I don't find them interesting enough, but I was like addicted to this one since the beginning. I am amazed how they managed to make such an entertaining, heart-warming series. And besides the ML and FL, there are several other characters that I like very much in this series. I hope that the remaining episodes will keep this quality, so I could rewatch the whole series some few more times. 😄

It's ok that it will end soon, because I've never been so immersed in a show before. I'm glad to get my life back soon 😂 😂 😂

And imo, in every scene, his whole posture looks as if ZWY has learned some kind of martial art in real life, he always keeps himself straight and collected.

Their features are complementary, that's why they are so well matched too (ZWY has a classic, serious, regular handsome face, and RM is a very charming, interesting, irregular beauty. In the story, even their personalities are like this, complementary and well matched :)
