Is her eye okay?! I noticed in some movie scenes, she has a dot or something on the white of her left eye (if we look at her on the screen, it’s our right, her left).

Edit: Yes it is! Found answer online.. a lot of celebs in Korea develop it on their eyes. I never noticed until this drama. It can form from sunlight exposure (melanin buildup), from rubbing eyes too much, or from frequent contact lense-wear that causes scars/tears on the eyeball.

Right? Make it make sense! At least the public were well aware of the X-Men in that world. But in this one, they're portraying it like our own world where super strength (like those women) do not exist. We all know what the reactions would be: capture, isolate, experiment, study.

The fake has entitlement issues. 'How-dare-you-show-up-and-take-my-spot-even-though-it-wasn't-mine-to-begin-with' lol

I was so confused that the grandma+mom completely forgot(?) about the fake daughter. The mother didn't even want to listen to the recording to hear the fake daughter's reasoning, bad thoughts, and possible further crime. They just dropped it, swept under the rug like nothing happened. The mother's secretary had more sense!!

Congrats to do this show for reaching Top 10 on Netflix, but I barely made it through the latest episode. Perhaps this story isn't for me :(( It was charming in the beginning, kind of Marvel vibes, intriguing, but it's failing to capture my prolonged interest.

A tangent, but I hate how the preview ends up being the "last scene" of the episode too. So we essentially learn nothing new loll The drug storyline with the bad guy boss isn't interesting to me

They really overdo her "innocence" or "country-bumpkin-clueless/naive" characterization. Just because someone lived in a different country that is more countryside than city, it doesn't make them stupid or lack common sense. It keeps rubbing me the wrong way how she is flaunting her strength left and right, even during the undercover operation.

I’m surprised at the character development of DaMi’a father. Wasn’t he a college professor, kind, and kind of innocent/naive in a sense? DaMi’s death/murder must’ve changed something so deep within him for him to come back with a vengeance, intelligence fully utilized, and stronger (less kind, especially to the ones he wishes to destroy). Dang. Some people say people rarely change . Those 5 years, Dami’s dad / matthew changed a lot

Is DaMi truly dead?

In today’s episode, the newscaster said the investigators took a biopsy or whatever it’s called, and determined that the bones belonged to DaMi. HOWEVER, the bones/skeleton looked fake af. Pardon my language. But the skeleton, especially Skull part, looked so fake. Like a halloween decoration. So I thought the grandpa was mistaking the decor as a real skeleton.

So was it just a bad prop, bringing in a unrealistic skeleton? I’m not even joking. The skull looked too clean… Most skeletons displayed in high school anatomy/science class are real but they’re only that clean and shiny cause they’ve been sanitized. But a rotting body for 5 years in a well? Should not look that clean o.o?

No need to watch the other one.

This drama can be treated as a standalone. The only connection to the other one is that they both have a female lead with super hero level strength. They apparently live in the same universe, but the lore(?) is hardly shared — it’s not like Marvel where the stories connect with one another, and world-building is done.

Only thing is, the leads of the other drama have a short 4-5min cameo on this drama. It’s a cameo, no more, no less. You won’t miss out on anything by simply watching this series without the other.

Tbh, it's not important whether or not so-and-so gets a acting offer or so-and-so declined said offer. I'm sure the actors and entertainment agency have looked at the script, contract, compensation, and their schedule, and made the decision(s) best for them. I don't know why we need to know of every instance they're ever offered a role x_x

Kind of like "Love Story in Harvard," "Lovers in Paris," and a myriad of other films where it takes place there for only a FEW episodes, then shoots back over to Seoul. Note: Filming for LSIH wasn't even done at Harvard campus, but you get the point lol

Can’t really blame the translator though. Netflix has restrictions and specific guidelines for the translators to follow. They tend to aim for concise translations that fit nicely into the subtitle space and try to find equivalent sayings (figure of speech , jokes, puns) rather than keeping the originals and explaining it. Very simplified, a little bit too much.

Some people prefer dubs over subs.

I for one can’t stand dubs; always been a sub over dub for all dramas and anime shows. English dubbing in particular, tend to be low quality (cringe, sounds fake or over the top, has a cartoon like feel to it, as if it was a fandubbing)

The dramawriters did him dirty too, inserting a characterization of how he’s chill with her stealing his cotton candy cause she gave all the meat to him. It came off as covert body shaming, pointing out how he got all that weight from indlging in high calorie foods. And she, being skinny, apparently didn't like meat. Why was it evennecessary to bring weight up at their reunion? Their parents literally said “yeah he is really your twin, behind all that weight” smh..
