Came across the song "Only Human" by K on my Spotify playlist.. It's the ending song for this j-drama :( Makes me feel sad listening to it, remembering Aya's life and story again.
I'm confused, did you hate her acting in penthouse or her character?
Disliking the antagonist is a compliment to the actor/actress! :) Kim So Yeon is the sweetest person IRL, her acting skills are great that she pulls off characters so unlike her true personality.
Believe me a lot of people would buy it easily because a lot of women try to make her ex regret their break up…
In response to your question, "and why would anyone need a dating coach":
- There are a lot of popular Korean dating coaches on YouTube (or AfreecaTV), amassing over 500k~1m+ followers. They live-stream their content, interact with viewers, answer their questions, get "tips" and money from fans, and edit their content into YT Videos. Those same videos get millions of views. They also go on to publish books with dating advice. (Sometimes those books are bestsellers). So... the audience is there. Examples: 박서아 (Park Seo-ah, singer turned BJ - Broadcasting Jockey), 김달 (Kim Dal), 김유진 (Kim Yoo Jin). - Same reason people seek out therapists, mentors, and coaches for other purposes (employment, financial, interpersonal relationships). There is a need, so there are those that fulfill those needs.
Which is why I thought the character 'BoRa' came about - from those online, internet dating coaches lol
can this drama be watched alone or do you need to watch the previous one first?
I vaguely remember season 1 cause it was so long ago, It'd help to watch season 1 to know their background story but it's not absolutely necessary. You could also Youtube a "summarized" (similar to spark notes for books, quick playthrough) video of thr first season. There are some Korean Youtubers who go through the entire season, shows clips, narrates and shows the story in a <30minute format. It can save you time. They do that for a lot of dramas and movies! Idk if there are english subs but you may find something available
Kim Bum hasn't aged at all! He looks the same as he did in Boys Over Flowers XD Quite good looking! His acting is great too. I loved his reactions when Lee Yeon kept treating him like a kid & when he realized LY wasn't the LY of the present that he knew
Imo if you make donations you shouldnt release press releases about it, just donate in silence, if you really…
I also wondered about that. Question: Why are many donations made by K-Celebrities are publicized (ex: news articles, their own personal Instagram page) rather than made anonymously or kept on the down-low?
Ex: Every holiday year, a Korean artist makes an instagram post of her charitable donation. The photo is a proof of donation, letter of thanks, and includes the total KRW donated.
Possible reasons : - To increase awareness in the causes they support - To encourage others to donate to the specific charities - To improve/maintain their positive image ("image-making") - To show that the charity is trustworthy (will do right with the funds received)
I hope Bora's friend gets a divorce with her husband.
He talks trash with his friend about women and marriage. He puts on his teary 'I'm-sorry-cause-I-got-caught' face on. He plays a cruel prank of turning on cold water while she's in the shower, thinking he's going in for a kiss.
If they stay together, what message is that sending to viewers?
Is it that "all marriage has problems, stay and deal with them"? -_- She doesn't look happy.
If he no longer loves her (to the point of self-hypnosing that love, as he lectured his friend), then he should end the marriage. Don't waste her time. She can find someone who truly loves and cares for her.
She's not in the life of Future Rang (from previous seasons)..
What is that comment's cheater apologist speech??

I knew it wasn't him but the resemblance is there, slightly

His narration sounded like what we'd read in Korean webnovels or webtoons.. A little on the cheesy side.
We don't know yet. We can only speculate for now ^_^;;;
