well when we said the stylist did her dirty with her herrendous bang at the earlier episodes, we’re serious about it. If only she had this hairstyle on ep28 above from the beginning, she will look much better. She’s looking so pretty especially on ep35-37. Poor Ren Min & Zhu Yan😌

I waited for their bts everyday on twitter😂 because they have so much chemistry off screen, it’s very cute to watch. I love that the staffs spoiled us so much of their bts. They know what we want to see haha

ALP was criticized because of XK poor performance as well, not just ZDY looks. Some cnetz also said XK looked unflattering in the drama. I personally think it’s his hair. ZDY, the styling team did her dirty with the ill fitted costume. They should have altered the outfits to fit her body. I watched ZDY movies and she’s an awesome actress. I stan her the most on Better Days & Soul Mate ( I still think her best partner is Ma Sichun). They both won best actresses together which was so historic for both of them.

new rules regulation by CCP. Thus a lot of currently airing cdramas suffered rushed plot and editing because they need to cut down eps from 50-60 into 40eps only. Even TLP, if you noticed the last 8eps editing and plot did feel rush and I think they cut a lof if things to fit into 40. But this is still acceptable compared tother dramas that suffered choppy editing to fit everything in shorter episodes.

Many people saw her the first time in this drama and many int viewers gave her good reviews too, bad reviews as well. Depends on people preferences. But people can see how good she delivered her role especially last 10eps of angst. If first time people who watched her thought she did well, who are you to tell we brainwashed ourselves to think she’s good. Good is good. No matter how much you have prejudice against her.

Isn’t it normal for actors/actresses to admit their shotcomings and be humble about their acting rather than saying ‘I think I’m so so great in this drama’ which will bring even more hate towards her. If someone you like said this, you will praise then for being humble fore sure. Lemme say this back to you, are you 10yrs old? which actress will blatantly say ‘I did so well for this drama, I’m the best’ likewise when you said production will back her up. It’s common sense to do.

This drama itself isn’t anything complex or out of ordinary wuxia xianxia. I read the novel and FL was even more messed up in it even tho the title is ‘Zhu Yan’. The first half was underwhelming I must say, the reaction was more to it. It picked up around ep10 imo.
I don’t throw XZ under the bus since I’m just his casual fan or passerby, you’re the one who throw him under the bus if you didn’t notice.

Majority of people who defended her on TLP are watchers of RoL. You make it look like she sucks so much at acting when she didn’t. At the first place, when her casting was announced, the production team said it’s because of her acting skill. You really based on douban, the site with full of hate on everything? That said a lot. Douban now is well know as rotten haters purposedly rating shows low especially for shows with traffic actors/actresses. All those things you said about RM are melon flying around on douban. Did you know about some byjx massive reporting TLP videos on douyin to get this drama taken down? They stirred rumors about this drama since the 1st day of announcement.

Plus she went through audition for this role, even XZ defended her casting on their 1st conference 2yrs ago. So is he lying then? XZ don’t have a say for all his partners right?
