I have been worried that it would get too draggy with too many fillers to make it last 40 episodes. I expect the rescues to help fill the time but if it's not, it's going to be hard with a storyline that doesn't seem to carry it for 40 episodes.

Wang You Shuo finally gets a drama where he is THE only main lead. I saw his potential in Ruyi Pavilion and just begged that he finally gets his own drama. It doesn't have to be high production but I really see him with great potential but hasn't hit the jackpot yet. Perhaps he did as He Na (as I've yet to watch that drama) as I've seen many comments saying he's the reason people watch it (over Bin Bin). But I would like to see him as THE main lead and not be overshadowed by other more experienced co-stars.

I'm up to episode 8. Not bad. Enough of rescues to keep me entertained. I worry on how it will be draggy for 40 episodes where the starting point is not a blossomimg love but of one of regret, anger and frustration. I didn't realize Bin Bin was in this drama but he isn't really a cameo and not a lead either. I am enjoying his screen time.

Does anyone know where to find the BGM for this series? I can't find it on Youtube and it's very good.

Has that scene where DJX saw SZ on a video screen with someone and he rushed out passed yet? I feel like I missed that part. It was where he was appearing jealous.

I think it's pretty reckless for her to dish out the P word having NOT watched the drama enough and basing her opinion only on the novel. In these days, the P label has serious negative connotations. People accused others so easily like they are just accusing them of being ignorant. I am Chinese and I don't rely on subs but I don't rely on her reviews either. She over criticizes everything on points that an average viewer wouldn't notice or even care. But because she points them out, magnifies it, suddenly we see it as a problem as well. To watch dramas like we are screening it for Best Motion pictures is very tiresome.

I just checked the first episode. He's dubbed again. I've never seen him in a drama where he uses his own voice.

He's so considerate and doesn't act at all like he's never dated before. The part that got me was he asked her to warm his cold hands for him. I'm like, come on...dying here...

Well it used to be (from several years ago), all about class romance (rich boy falls for poor girl or vice versa) troupe that got very tiresome. Now, we move away (a bit) from that and into intricate revenge plots where there is hardly ever a full set of living parents for the leads - someone had to have died/killed in a tragic way to drive the series. I do give it to Kdrama for doing amazing twists and bombshells. Cdrama is no match for it.

I have to say, this is one of the rare few cdramas where there is sweet romance not filled with angst. The one where even the viewer is giggling and squealing over their cuteness. Last time I felt like this was watching You Are My Hero with Bai Jing Ting and Sandra Ma. It helps when the leads are adorably cute in their dating period.

I'm on episode 5. I am tolerating Song Yi's acting. It's not to the point that it's annoying me but I cannot help but think of her role has similarities to Tan Song Yun in the Sword and the Brocade. The difference is her social status but both married into noble families and have zero backing by their own family and having to build trust and relationships with their husband's households. Someone said that it's not easy to play Song Yi's character. Again, I can't help but think TSY would have been perfect for this role. She can do cuteness as natural. She can appear strong will and not exaggerate. If anyone has seen her in Sword and the Brocade will understand this. There are scenes where I am certain that TSY would have delivered better.

I had to google to check but yes she is. I've seen her in other dramas before but the most memorable one for me was being that awful aunt in Minglan

One of the most elaborate wedding ceremonies in Cdrama too.

Not sure if anyone noticed. ML's mother is that second wife from Love Like the Galaxy (Liu Bi Yi's stepmother). She was a scheming and low class woman in that role who pretended to be virtuous. Here, she is a proper wife of a powerful and wealthy family and she is very understanding and actually virtuous. FL's mother, is the aunt from Minglan. The aunt who tried to poison Minglan's grandmother and screamed everyone was to blame but herself. The aunt had married into a less than desirable family and was scorned all her life. Here, she is FL's mother as a proper wife and a good relationship with FL. None of that scheming b** you see.

A big bonus for me is the amount of screentime the MLs had. Usually, it gets undercut by other SMLs and their storyline but not with the Tianhui couple. I don't find myself really aching to see them come back because they aren't gone for long.

Anyone suddenly got teary when BXS did his cheeky 'heart' shape with his hands over TY at the last episode?

When you are ready, go watch Neo in A Girl Like Me. There are many more kiss scenes with the FL. That's where you really see how amazing he looks in kiss scenes. Less romance and not really a betrayal of tianhui couple is Our Times with Leo Wu. Granted, his makeup is much darker but if you are looking to hear his real voice, that's right there.

It might be the most painful for her but in her pain comes everyone else so I would rather her not live. She would continue to wreck havoc.
