I remember her saying that if she was a man, she could run for the CP title...I think she thinks she has the power of a man - having a 'harem' of men around her (and no shame about it), seeing life aside herself as worthless. If she was a CP, she would of been sent to exile.

It's not that they won't get revenge- usually the stakes are higher and the scheming is really out of this world but CSS' way of eye for an eye matches her age of '15'. OMG and when LBY told her that it was 'different', I was like "thank you!"

And her outburst of seeing herself so high and mighty and the gasp in saying how 'no one can touch me cuz I am a princess'. And honestly, I've never seen a princess who apparently houses a bunch of men at her residence for entertainment. Reverse harem indeed but as a princess...does reputation NOT matter at all? Despite how annoying her character is, the actress is spot on in and the shock of grief when what actually mattered to her was taken from her.

I absolutely agree with you. The most frustrating thing she said to LBY when he was confronting her about hiding the truth behind her falling into the water...she said that it was LBY who brought her to the palace and his reply on this (different than last time CSS mentioned it) and 100% completely what I was thinking "so you think it's all my fault, isn't it?" When she feels backed up to justify her actions, she quickly then casts the blame to LBY. She's not winning me any empathy points on here. Her constant "Why can't you just accept me for the way I am, why do you have to make me change?" nags at me. Honestly, if this royal family had 1/3 of the usual seriousness in other shows- most of what CSS said/did would of gotten her killed many times over. Her pranking the 5th princess to humiliation, discussing about the emperor as if he's just a regular person, pushing 5th prince into the water, telling 3rd prince to shut up, I could go on...

They dumped us with a lot of sugar on ep 36 and now we are expected to just bask in it for next 4 days to carry us through...we are crashing

Don't you guys just love it when CSS had that sit down meal with LY, LBY and YS at that time, everyone was smiff about seeing CSS and LY professing their love for each other and now that it's CSS and LBY, everyone looks on with jealousy and they are in their own world with those super lightning zaps of love off each other? One of the best chemistry scenes right there.

CPs tend to have a teacher (usually a high official, or an esteemed teacher) as a kingmaker but I don't see anyone here for CP other than LBY. But LBY is always around to save him from his own faults and he's smart enough to see that CP doesn't have what it takes to succeed. And incompetent heir apparent is just as bad as a ruthless one.

The reality of princesses is that they get married off and so it's like sending trouble out the door and never to return (if they return, it's usually bad news). So as much trouble they get into, they are to be married off and even for the 5th princess who is already betrothed to another, it's not happening fast enough.

She is a widow which I remember CSS's father asking her about whether she would like to re-marry and he would be okay with it and I was thinking, gosh...in this era..a son asking his widowed mother to re-marry. This isn't 2022??? Gotta love her being the overdramatic ice breaker and unrestraint...even to burp.

Looking back, her mother was right to punish her so severely for that bridge prank. She was afraid that if CSS was left uncontrolled and unteachable, she would cause even greater trouble. Mother wasn't wrong at all. But CSS is too stubborn and to be constantly bailed out by someone for her mistakes won't teach her anything. Someone like CSS needs to fall into deep trouble and let no one save her- it's a hard lesson but a necessary one. Communication isn't even much of an issue, the issue is the listening. LBY can say everything right but it's not being received by CSS. She isn't listening. Period.

I don't think you appreciate the significance of a fake tiger seal. It would endanger not only herself, but her entire family (extended too) and the soldiers out on the military mission. A tiger seal gives the holder immense power to command military forces. If the seal is misplaced and ends up in the wrong hands, it has disastrous consequences. Soldiers don't know the difference between a fake and real one- they see one being held and by military rules- they must follow the commands being issued. If discovered that the person holding it has a fake seal, he cannot command the troops as necessary. It's not a simple symbol of authority. This isn't a fake piece of jewelry or an ornament.

No it's something worst that is yet to happen that involves the 5th princess. Worst in that the trailer has it the Queen even asks her to leave. So she must of taken matters into her own hands (again), not telling LBY about it (again). I'm all for free spirited and doing things your own way but there is a smart and stupid way of doing it. Fake military seal? That's not just meddling into royal family affairs, that's state affairs and if in another drama- she be long dead. All I can hear from her is "You didn't tell me it would be this serious, I have no idea, I don't know about the power dynamics"- pleading ignorance as an excuse to downplay the severity of her mistakes, then casting blame on others for not explaining things to her. Maybe I am harsh but I see myself as being more critical of her. Just because she is the FL, doesn't mean I have to accept her excuses.

OMG I just rolled my eyes and even if she's appearing to 'get it' in episode 34...it's clear in the preview for ep 37-38, consequences are coming.
