Excellent cast starring in an exhilarating plot but ended up being badly butchered during editing, resulting in weird jumps in the storyline and inconsistent dubbing (voice-mouth movement don't really match). Watching season 2 is a must to reach the ending.

there's way too many parts that's completely or borderline illogical. anyway, done and dusted. china should really consider doing more logical shows, instead of letting their so-called censorship board taking control. it's getting more and more ridiculous...
It’s almost as bad as the blue eyed Queen Dowager being alive the entire time in Peach Blossom Valley! Her son,…
I saw, but I couldn't quite invest into the show. The ending was probably the worst and didn't make much sense - but it's a happy ending in general (depending which version you watched)
I agree i guess if you get poisoned just get struck by lightning that'll save ya.
I was quite mindblown at the scene. After that, everything just went by in a breeze. And once it reached both of them in bed cuddling, I just went wtf-just-happened!? Gosh, I hope the leads can pick better projects in the future. They weren't exactly the ideal CP in the Legend of Yun Xi (even that storyline was weird up to the end!), but they both showed more potential in this show - then it was ruined by many makjang incidents! Sigh.. I feel ripped off of my time and energy rooting for the CP ><

You had me LOL-ing at birthday card! Very brilliant! Perhaps from where Fu Rong's Master's death, the story kinda went loopy and the overall direction of the story didn't quite make sense. I could only sit through the remaining half at 2x speed! (thank god for that function!). I just hope the leads could collaborate again in the future to a more fitting story in order for us viewers to truly enjoy their onscreen interaction.
The one scene I cannot brain is when Xu Jin took Fu Rong up to the tower, and they both got hit by lightning, and she woke up? I mean, logically, when one is hit by lightning, it's instant death. Gosh, I now understand why iQiyi released all last 10 episodes together. Had they split it up, it would have made it so much worse than just being dog-blood! Haiyah... Overall, I dig the leads' chemistry, but the overall story is just meh to me, even after being invested in the show in the beginning...
It's not bad but i get so upset with the 2FL n 1 FL. 1FL is too kind n kinda gullible but of course 2FL mom is…
Sounds messed up! I think I'll wait till this ends and see if it'll spark my interest to want to attempt this. Thank you very much for sharing insights on this show :)
For some reason, I think Johnny-Wu Jin Yan has more chemistry than Johnny-Dilreba pairing. I am really looking forward to this. Wu Jin Yan needs better roles!
Click on 'YoYo English Channel'. It is stated in the playlist description - "Schedule: Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday 1 episode per day at 20:00 (GMT+0800)"
Why isn't this show given more attention!? My god! What a ride! I laughed, cried and smiled like an idiot - all while watching the whole show! I really admire Kris Fan's acting more and more - he was kinda wasted in Qing Qing Zi Jin (but still stood out) but I really enjoy his screen presence here! Overall, the story heavily focuses on dreams and love for one's country and also most importantly, the friendships that are forged to last a lifetime! Romance is subtly there but definitely not the main attention - but being one's true self, breaking out of one's comfort zone and knowing that no matter how many times one falls, there's always a group of close friends nearby to catch oneself and rise to be a better self next. I love it! The only one complaint is the CGI used during flight scenes: you can definitely tell it's CGI-made. Other than that, this show will remain quite memorable to me for a long while. :)
It really depends on the demand of international audiences, I suppose? But usually, if the project is featured on YouTube and with Eng subs, the provider will follow their own posting schedules. I believe that they would have uploaded everything in one-go, just that they set specific times to premiere, which we do not see. Yoyo is pretty reliable, so you should get the full show according to schedule :)
I think it's because of the long waits that created gaps, I found the ending somewhat underwhelming and dissatisfying - and eventually the story kinda gotten silly? But overall, it's still a nice drama to watch if one can sit through it without overly long gaps. I did enjoy the front parts quite a bit. Anyway, next on my list, The Eyas.
I really like the FL in Accidentally In Love (with Fiction Guo) but she seems somewhat so-so here, based on the trailer? Also, Eden Zhao as another cold-CEO role again!? Why cdramaland, why? =/
I unexpectedly stumbled upon this drama after Love Is Sweet wrapped up and boy, I loved every time both leads interact with one another! While the overall story didn't make much sense (not many thrills and suspense), both leads had me hooked with their onscreen chemistry from the very get-go. And I enjoyed them all (both their ups and downs together). I could definitely rewatch this again (just for the pure sweetness) sometime in the future.
