Wait, I need a minute. No, I need more than a minute ... Whattttt ...
Got that :) I am still processing but I found it neither sad nor good - feels like an open ending but somewhere along the lines, we keep to our imaginations that they are together someway, somehow
Wait, I need a minute. No, I need more than a minute ... Whattttt ...
It really depends how on the viewer tbh. I am conflicted to choose between both options as it really could be both. Perhaps after you've watched it, you will be able to pick a side - a side you lean towards :)
Wait, I need a minute. No, I need more than a minute ... Whattttt ...
I am still not sure how to put my thoughts on the ending since I binge-watched the last 6 episodes in one sitting. Like there's a heck loads to take in, but I will miss seeing both Cheng Yi and Yang Zi on my small screen. And may love forever live on between Ying Yuan and Yan Dan. But good heavens, I need more time to digest this ending ...
My most memorable show of hers is Love Me If You Dare (2015) starring Wallace Huo, Sandra Ma and Andrew Yin. A very well-done show that I enjoyed very much.
I couldn't finish it. So if you end up not liking it you are not alone.
Just so you know, everyone is entitled to their own opinions. And from how I see it, what I wrote is based on my opinion of the actor and story. And I even tried to give the show a second try but it truly isn't my cup of tea. By going through my watchlist and turning it against my own taste in entertainment, and leaving other people's comments as your own, to me, it is really rude! I do not believe in hate speech nor do I believe MDL promotes hate speech. Either way, I have reported your comment. Thank you for enlightening me on how some people just can't say nice things on the Internet.
Mue Prab Khao Saan Sek is also watchable with Namwhan as a lead, you can try it. I'm currently watching btw. and…
If you don't mind spoilers on Fak Fah Kiri Dao, you can check out the reviews on the page (by kwk and Miss K0ky)! https://kisskh.at/33235-fak-fah-kiri-dao What's said there, are pretty much what I cannot agree more. It was a torture and pain to sit through that lakorn... T___T #neveragain
I swear, this show is a mess! And an oddly addictive mess too! It's like all the extremes coming together and it should shock you, but you weirdly enjoyed the ride of it? I hate to say it but I really digged Preaw-BigM's onscreen chem here! But seriously, this show defies all logic. A pure guilty pleasure watch but don't think I can sit through a rewatch on this one...
Hmm, why the low rating for this lakorn? I thought it was pretty good. Personally, I enjoyed it and didn't skip much, which is very rare for me. The action scenes were ballistic, loud, and wild, and at some point, I was over the edge because of them. Plot-wise, it's nothing new, nor over-the-top. Romance is subtle - ML was the first to fall in love, FL is a person with spine and guts though she did a 180 with the baddie nearing the end kinda irked me a little. The story focuses heavily on Thup's perspective - he's brave, wild and smart, and with his good heart, he's found many good people to rally with him through life and death. Some deaths among the supporting roles were quite impactful and made the story a bit more human so it kinda balances out extremes. Perhaps the biggest peeve of this show is the actress, Preaw? I cannot relate to her acting? Her father is in the human trafficking business - he knows that she knows - yet I can't connect to her, not her pain, her actions. But other than that, I really enjoyed binge-watching this in one sitting.
Big shoutout to Thippy for subbing this on the fly! I wouldn't have made it without her subs!
P.S.: To give Preaw a chance, I'm gonna check out Peek Hong next.
P.P.S: After So Wayree, Boss Chanakan really caught my eyes. And after seeing him here, he's seriously so adorable! I hope he'll get to act in more lakorns to expand his range of acting.
I actually like this lakorn! It's pretty straightforward. The villains are not too over-the-top, the storyline is acceptable (nothing too much or too crazy) and the mains have a comfortable chemistry with one another (nothing that screams steamy or overly lovey-dovey though). I can't wait to see what's at the end for the leads! Also, I wish the secondary couples have more room and time to grow together, but I guess there's always short of something in every show.
Drama, really? I thought this plot is fitting for a movie instead. Doesn't feels like it has much to carry on to build into a drama? I hope it's good though. Haven't watched a good Aom lakorn in a long time now. Still waiting for Boss and Me to be released as well.
Finally, a watchable lakorn with Namwhan as a lead! I have seen her in Thong Ake Mor Yah Tah Chaloang, Lub Luang Jai, and 2020's Fak Fah Kiri Dao (one of the worst lakorn I've seen in 2020 - if it wasn't for Pon Nawasch, I would have dropped it immediately like a hot potato!). Perhaps the biggest fresh moment is Kitsuwon Supakorn acting a good character! I've lost count of how many lakorn he's acted as the big baddie. I think this storyline was decent and good - though it did start to drag in the middle towards the end. The pace wasn't fast enough but it gave enough time to explain the past lives properly. Namfon, who acted as Sodaya is such an amazing actress! I enjoyed watching her going about her own conflict - between her love for Yodsarat and her own mother. Overall, CG is nothing OTT and looks quite acceptable. Nothing too mind-blowing, but nothing too underwhelming, though Kuan has a super, duper hot bod (sweat!). I enjoyed this one. 8/10 from me.
Haven't enjoyed a modern lakorn in awhile now. While I have to give it to Wawwa for her crazy character (which she carried it well!), I like how this lakorn played out very realistically (yet with some level of makjang elements, but not to the crazy extreme level). Pope and Bella managed to carry this lakorn well, though Pope's character, Ramin is seriously such an intelligent, mature yet very gentleman, which I completely dig. Overall, there are too many characters in this lakorn to justify all their screen time. Jae Sunee, Belle, Pa and Aim has one of the best friendship goals I'd love to have in real life too. I will miss this wonderful cast! 8/10 from me.
All was fine, up till the very last scene? So, Lee Yeon is now a human or still a gumiho? Whattt?? I don't get…
I feel like the show started off with a positive hype and intriguing storyline, to only falter as the show progressed? Not to mention, the ending had me with a 'what!?'. The cast did a great job together, but honestly, even they can't save a shaky plot ~

Anyway, yay to another of Wan Peng's drama! Hope this turns out good!
