Is there any dramas like fangs of fortune if there I want to add those to my watchlist..... Kindly someone tell…
Fangs of Fortune is a very unique drama, so it's hard to find anything similar, but I'll try.
I suggest you check out Edward Guo's other works, like My Journey to You. Although he's controversial, he is definitely one of the best directors in China, especially when it comes to cinematography. He also has an upcoming drama called Hidden Shadow, which looks very promising, and hopefully it will air next year ππ»
Some famous xianxia dramas: Love Between Fairy and Devil (also had beautiful cgi and a demon ml), Till the End of the Moon (very tragic, demon ml), The Untamed (the storyline is really good and so are the characters. It's not a high quality drama but definitely worth a watch), Love Game in Eastern Fantasy (romcom, demon ml)
Wuxia dramas: A Journey to Love, My Journey to You
Historical dramas: Story of Pearl Girl (haven't seen this one, but it seems to have a more serious tone), Love Like the Galaxy, The Double, Story of Kunning Palace
Dashing Youth might be a good suggestion as well, because Neo Hou stars in it and it's based on adventure, friendship.
Aaa, the sword technique of Bingyi is so cool! Edward Guo knows how to make a beautiful drama, that's for sure.
I've liked Zhuo Yichen's character from the beginning but as the episodes go on I'm getting more and more attached to him, him slowly becoming one of my favourite characters ever.
My heart aches for him. The way he looked when LL broke the sword... He deserves a hug. A very tight one π«
Alright, I love this series, but ep. 23 was so irritating, I can't...Friendly reminder this is MY OPINION!Was…
4. You can never know for sure when the director is Edward Guo. When ZYZ lost control at Kunlun Mountain, Pei Sijing and Bai Jiu were away for a long time as well. Later we get to know why. I think later we will learn more about this one as well. And the reason why she'd go after the bow is logical. It's her weapon, without it she doesn't worth much against LL.
5. Yes, you're right, he shouldn't have just laid there, but he was seriously injured, and isn't that skilled of a fighter. Plus, he was still seeing Bai Jiu, not LL. He couldn't kill Bai Jiu.
6. If they all surround ZYC, LL would have attacked them, increasing the risk of ZYC being injured again. They couldn't really have done anything different. They can't rush him to a doctor because LL is still there, and surrounding him won't make him healed.

1. Who else could have they suspected? Bai Jiu stating that he didn't develop such a needle really made ZYC look suspicious. They didn't say it must be him, they just made a guess in hurry cause they realised that there must be something wrong with the needle. They couldn't risk ZYZ die or being taken advantage of.
2.This had happened before. For example when the Mountain Gods trapped him in that pagoda thingy. I think during these moments, he's trying to regain control over his body. Espacially since Wen Xiao appeared, he must have been struggling hard not to kill her.
3. They were like that for like what, a moment? After being away for such a long time and struggling so much, of course they wanted to embrace each other. WX knew that ZYC went to help the others, and he's strong, won't be easily killed by LL. What nobody expected was his sword to be broken. Fighting without his word is the worst things that can happen to him. Yes, he's skilled in close combat as well, but not as strong.
I hope we will learn more about Zhu Yan's origin. So far, we only received pieces from his past, and I feel like the puzzle is not yet ready.
How did she meet Wen Xiao's master? Where was he born? Why did he want to die even before being controlled by the malicious energy? How and why did he get attached emotionally to humans so much?
This series is such a good one. I really hope we'll get answers.
I think he meant that he saw people falling in love for the first time. We don't know his origin and early years but he mentioned in the first few episodes that demons develope emotions later and differently, and since the Wilderness is vast, he might have not come across anyone being in love until he was over 300 and visited the mortal world for the first time.
The way Zhu Yan thought that the Wen Xiao right in front of him was his own imagination is heartbreaking to hear…
Truly romantic!
This is what I adore about Chinese dramas. We might not get a kiss until the very end but so many subtle acts, longing gazes, and beautiful words make up for it for sure!
From the moment they met, their chemistry was off the charts. I love how they understand one another with just a look, and are able to express their deepest worries in each other's presence.
I swear if they arrive at the solution of Killing him (or destroying his core or something), and then sigh and…
Exactly! What it would make it even more tragic is a suicide. I can imagine Zhuo Yichen hesitating whether to kill Zhu Yan or not, so for the greater good, Zhu Yan takes matters into his own hand and leans into the sword willingly or something like that.
Oh, there would be no tissues enough for me if this were the scenario ππ
You're welcome. I'm glad to help! βΊοΈ

He knows something we don't know yet, and I'm afraid it's not a good thing.
I'm hopeful though that we will learn more about his past ππΌ

This is my guess π€·πΌββοΈ
Guess it's my fault for liking angsty dramas π

This couple is gonna live rent free in my mind...

Hou Minghao slays in this role. He looks so elegant and refined, yet powerful and mysterious. What a character! I'm totally in love haha
