Relationship between ML and FL is strong and steady. FL chases him first, but once he falls for her it's a done deal. They have eyes only for each other. They cooperate and protect each other when necessary and both are strong characters. Give it a try.
1. I'm looking forward to the moment when NXY's duplicity gets discovered. He's so interesting with his thoughts and actions. Helping main leads, being their friend, but also scheming behind their backs and just waiting to be discovered. His resignation is kinda hot. Also, he keeps getting prettier and prettier.
2. I like what they did with Sang Qi's character. It was somewhat sad, but satisfying.
3. Interactions between ML and FL keep getting better. I love how XXC looked at her when he thought she was being silly during their conversation about returning to Snow City. His facial expressions speak so much! VZ is a good actor.

To each their own. We all have different opinions, which is completely normal. I just stated my opinion, I don't want to shove it down others' throats. We all are enjoying the drama, that's what's important.
Why does he need to use the mask and why does everyone recognise him as soon as he takes off the mask? Not arguing, just asking.
I read half of the novel (didn't really like how it was written so I dropped it) and it was very obvious that he lost his original body, but the live adaptation never mentioned him looking different from his original self. They changed a lot of things from the novel, it wouldn't be strange for them to change that detail as well.

Whatever secrets she has, they can't excuse everything she has done up to this point. Killing that doctor who saved her life, killing all those eternals and humans, torturing Chong Zhao and just being horrible all around. Her only redeeming quality is that she saved his life, everything else they showed to us is just her being evil and unredeemable.
Now, she's an interesting character, I don't hate her, and I am curious about her past, but making Chong Zhao fall for her after everything she has put him through would just not be it. At least to me.
I don't know how people can ship Fu Ling and Chong Zhao. Like, dark romance is okay, but she's literally deranged and the poor guy deserves better than her twisted "love". I really hope he doesn't start developing feelings for her because that would be too weird after everything she has done to him.
Man, that ending was something else. The whole drama feels kinda pointless/meaningless after it - which is a pity, because the story was interesting, the mystery and horror elements were nicely incorporated and I liked the actors and the characters. But all those bits and pieces of mystery practically led to nothing in the end, or at least it feels that way. Still, if I ignore the ending it's a REALLY good drama so I'm gonna give it 8.5.
I don't really understand the chronology of what happened 10 years ago 🥴. So a demon who possessed XXC saved MXL when she was bullied, and I thought she left with him, but they say the leader of the Immortal Alliance forced her to pretend to be his daughter when Sang Qi attacked, and then they showed XXC being killed by someone 10 years ago, but he actually killed the leader of Immortal Alliance. What??? Am I the only one who doesn't get it?
Other than that, I love everything about this drama. There's not a single boring moment. Also, NXY looks so good when he fights and casts spells 😍. I don't ship him with MXL, but I love him as a character!

You don't like magic? It's not all magic, but there's a good amount of it seeing how it's xianxia. I would suggest watching 1-2 more eps and deciding after that. There is no way to decide whether something is good or not after only a few minutes of watching (except if you don't like this genre). I personally find it quite interesting. It has likeable characters, fun interactions between main leads, nice fight scenes, good enough CGI and the story so far is progressing nicely.

He's not even going after her. He just spends time with both of them without trying to "steal" her away. I actually find him quite respectful and likeable.
