What... Chen Ye is really Qi Feng, or pretending to be Qi Feng? And our Master of Bright Moon Palace totally for…
I don't think he's pretending. Zhen Yu obviously believes he has the kid with purple eyes and the right Bai sister. Unless he managed to trick Zhen Yu as well, but I don't think he did.
Okay, I'm watching two xianxia dramas at the same time and I keep mixing the information about Gods and their realm, so can someone write this drama's backstory? Do Gods still exist here? For the life of me I cannot remember what they said in the beginning 💀
Knowing how "strict" they are with their ratings that sounds good.
Btw, related but also unrelated, I just saw the poster on Douban and I wish MDL used the same one. Or any other that's focused on main leads only. It may be just me, but usually when I see these group pics posters I lose interest. They look so bland 😂
I can't believe we're only getting 1 episode today!!!
Gosh, I love ep. 28. Everything fits so well. When I try to understand the concept of time traveling my brain feels like exploding tho. Like everything just goes in circles, the present and the future is already predetermined and even if you try to change the past it's nothing new, everything already happened. Anyway, I'll finally get the explanation I asked for several episodes ago about the chronology of the day Da Gege died, it was so confusing.
me too! I actually didn't think much of the actor when I saw him on a variety show, but something about his character…
Yeah. Like the actor is far from unattractive, but he's not exactly the type I would usually fall for when it comes to c-dramas either, but he's so charming and attractive in this role. I get excited every time he shows up on the screen. 😂
same tbh I haven't seen such a good xianxia drama in a really long time.
For real! Like, I understand people are skipping it because there are no big names in it (I'm guilty of doing that too) but the quality is actually insane. I'm so glad I picked it up on a whim.
I'm watching Moonlight Mystique and Guardians of the Dafeng and they're both good, but my favourite currently airing drama is The Blossoming Love. It's pity that it's not more popular.
I'm only on ep. 13 and even though he doesn't even appear that often, Yang Yan is my fav character. There's something about him, idk, I just like the guy.
So far any secondary couples? Also I saw a clip that it made it seem the FL likes the ML first is this the case?…
Not really. There's something happening between Gao Qiumin and Fu Lansheng but for now it hasn't left the friendship stage. She does fall in love first, but he's not far behind. It becomes mutual pretty fast. 2ML likes FL but she completely ignores his advances and has eyes only for ML. ML is also super devoted.
All in all, the development of their relationship is really satisfying. You won't be disappointed if you decide to watch it.
I enjoying the drama. I enjoying WD acting but his fan annoys me. What do you mean carrying the drama. This drama…
That "argument" was literally started because someone called him a sidekick in a demeaning manner. I don't want to call out any actors' fans because it feels like attacking actors themselves, and people here will take it as that, but some fans need to chill tf out and let people praise whomever they want. This is not a competition and fans of specific actors (in general, not just in this specific case) need to stop ruining the experience for everyone else.
Ngl, ep. 20 pissed me off so much. I despise Fu Ling, and CZ was an idiot for saving her after what she did to BS. One moment he's obsessed with BS and claims to love her, the next moment he's saving the person who quite literally tried to kill her a few moments earlier. They're both so irritating and I can't wait for them to die.
Also, Mu Jiu's death was so unsatisfying. It already felt pointless (Fu Ling you'll pay for it), but they could've at least given him a proper farewell. Tian Huo didn't even realize he was dying until it was too late. So so annoying.
I don't root for him to be in a relationship with the FL, I'm happy with the main pairing, but I do find him more…
True. I love when there are no annoying characters in a drama. Villains and side characters are usually super annoying with their interferences in the main couple's relationship, but in this case the character who is both 2ML and the villain brings so much charm and it's impossible for me to dislike him. Whatever happens to him in the end happens, but he's such an interesting character.
How could everyone like the SML more and root for him? He's a good friend of the FML, but didn't she make it clear…
I don't root for him to be in a relationship with the FL, I'm happy with the main pairing, but I do find him more interesting/intriguing than the ML on an individual level. I prefer grey characters in general.
Does anyone know if it was added later on? I don't remember reading it before.
Also, I don't feel bad for Qi Feng's victims at all. If the story we've been told is true, he deserves his revenge. He's so devious tho.
I don't know how they'll all get out of this colossal mess they're collectively in.

Anyway, my rating is going down 😑
