I'm only on episode 18 but so far so good. There's nothing that bothers me, except weird editing (?) in some scenes and the fact that they're in Germany but for some reason everyone speaks English instead of German π€£
EDIT (after completing it): I must be in the minority because I really liked this as a whole, despite some annoying characters who at times made my blood boil. I loved the main couple and their story, and the family drama was also done well. ML's brother and mother were "evil", but both of them were also victims and while I couldn't excuse his mother's actions I actually felt sympathy for his brother and I'm glad he eventually came around, abandoned his revenge plan and managed to get a happy ending. All in all, I think it was good. I don't understand the low rating π€
What don't you like? There are several genres of Chinese costume dramas so if you f.ex. don't like fantasy you…
You're welcome, I hope you'll like them.
As for TTEOTM, yeah, it kinda is similar to this one, and the story mostly revolves around romance. I love morally grey characters so I enjoyed watching it, but there's a good chance you would not like it.

I see. You may like Nirvana in Fire, it has a really good story (revenge & scheming). The first few episodes are hard to follow but it becomes really good after that. Almost everyone who watched it ended up liking it.
The Long Ballad also has a good story. There is romance but it's not too fluffy.
The Rise of Phoenixes also has a good political story with some romance (it's not very fluffy but the chemistry is definitely there).
Mysterious Lotus Casebook is another good one. There is no romance but there is bromance between the 3 MLs and really good fighting scenes.
Love Like The Galaxy is slowburn romance but there is some mystery as well.
The Untamed has a really good story (+bromance) that keeps you glued to the screen. A lot of people point out the bromance, but it's basically a story about Wei Wuxian and his fall from grace. Character development and story progression are top-notch, but CGI/special effects aren't the best.
Till The End Of The Moon is fantasy and romance but it's not fluffy, more like enemies to lovers to enemies to lovers π, if you like that type of spicier romance it's really good.
I didn't watched a lot of Cdramas yet, but I'm trying to get into it so I started to watched Love Between Fairy…
What don't you like? There are several genres of Chinese costume dramas so if you f.ex. don't like fantasy you should avoid xianxia like this one. I can recommend something more realistic if that's what you're looking for?
I can understand fans of the original work being pissed, but I personally couldn't care less about the changes. The synopsis sounds interesting so I'm looking forward to it.
Wouldn't you feel dead inside if you find out your husband is cheating behind your back ? She is not ready for…
No actually, I'm not contradicting myself at all. The genre is light comedy with romance, but in the first 20 episodes there is barely any romance, which I addressed in my original comment. I also said there are other characters that make it more interesting, those being his parents. "Realistic" romance (and you yourself explained why it's realistic) where it takes 20 episodes for FL to even look at ML is boring.
Just because I said I don't like this specific type of ship dynamics you conclude that I dislike the whole drama (even though I rated it 8) and say I should stick to fantasy dramas. π
You don't have to reply, I'm done with this conversation.
I'm really not a fan of this ship dynamic where ML has a crush and is trying everything he can to get some attention while FL acts like a dead fish and doesn't reciprocate at all. 20 episodes of it is just too much, thankfully there are other characters who make it a bit more interesting and it also seems like the main leads' relationship is finally progressing after ep. 20.
Also, I'm not saying it's bad, but this type of slice of life just doesn't hold my attention. I need more tension and drama.
I'm not fan of long series, but I want to give it a try. Am I going to feel that it's long??
When I watched it for the first time I wasn't used to long dramas and 50 episodes seemed pretty "scary", but by the end I wished it had 50 more. I can't say for certain you'll feel the same as me, but I know many people who share my experience so I would suggest just giving it a try.
Love the actors who played the MLs in this, but I'd recommend Hwarang or Warrior Baek Dong Soo over this drama…
I actually found Warrior Baek Dong Soo quite disappointing when it comes to bromance (and it was the only reason why I picked it up). They were friends at first, but after their paths diverged I couldn't really call the relationship between them friendship or bromance, it felt very distant, and for me who came mainly for bromance it was very frustrating π
This whole anti-hero concept is exactly what I love watching the most. It was short and well paced, really enjoyable for watching. Some things could've been done better, for example side characters' motivation and some background info (how did Cho guy know Vigilante's identity?) but all in all it was good. I really loved Nam Joo Hyuk in this role and wouldn't mind watching the second season if they ever make it (it certainly seems like something they could do after that ending).
Kim Young Dae is such a beautiful man. There are many actors I find attractive, but he may as well be at the top. And I love how he looks amazing both ih historical and modern settings.
The drama was good. It could've been better, there were some inconsistencies that bugged me, some parts could've been more 'intense' (not sure that's the right word) but I still enjoyed watching it. The whole reincarnation thing and the tragic enemies to lovers love story is something right up my alley. The ending was also satisfying.

Why is there no synopsis? Is it not known or just not updated?

8.5 from me.
