This was really good, I enjoyed it more than season 1. Probably because it felt like it was more about people and their struggles than about monsters (which I couldn't take seriously). It's more character driven than plot driven, and it has that dystopian feeling which I love. I also liked the new soldier characters. It's a huge plus. Chan Young was such a cutie!
Those are things I actually like more compared to the season 1. Monsters are not as ridiculous/campy as they were,…
I agree that everyone has different opinions. After reading comments I've noticed that a lot of people who loved S1 feel disappointed by S2, and people who didn't really like S1, like S2 (like me). I guess both seasons pander to people with different tastes. I'm really curious to see what they'll do with S3.
I feel like not enough people are talking about how lazy looking the monsters got like no inventing designs just…

How good is this one? Is it worthy of wasting my 16+ hours? Can't trust MDL's rate apparently. 😒
I have mixed feelings about this one. It was good (at least first 8 episodes) and then came a plot twist that made me lose interest. I still think it's good, quality wise, but I decided to drop it after ep. 9. It also depends on whether you like this genre or not, there's no romance in it.
This whole thing felt like an acid trip. A lot of it made no sense whatsoever, but I kept watching to see where they're going with it. I can't say I enjoyed watching it, but I have to give it to Tor, Gun and Nanon, their acting was good.
1. racecar drivers setting seemed interesting and it reminded me of Not Me (even though it's completely unrelated, but just the impression it left on me after seeing some edits) 2. I really liked Charlie's look, he's cute af
Now, the more I watch the more I appreciate Pavel and his acting. The story is also interesting, it's keeping my attention. I just hope I won't be disappointed by the revelation about Charlie, all this sneaking and lying better be for something good i.e. interesting.
I just finished rewatching it, so at the end did Lan Wang come back for Wei Wu Xian or what? After watching it…
I didn't really feel bad for him, but I remember thinking his reasoning for some of the stuff he did was sound. It wouldn't be easy to be a good person in the circumstances in which he lived.
It was good, but the last two episodes left a bad taste in my mouth. I don't like how they resolved the whole situation, how they dealt with the revenge/(not) revealing the truth. The main characters started annoying me, so I lowered my rating from 9 to 8.5.
Aside from that, I have to point out how visually stunning this drama is. I also like how it felt very natural in a way. A lot of interactions between characters felt very human (f.ex. interactions between Zhang Ping and his master, or the scene where Wang Yan lost it and attacked Zhang Ping because his actions almost made Lan Jue lose his life). The pacing was also good, everything they showed felt essential to the story, there were no fillers.
Not sure which episode but it's somewhere in the beginning when they say that Yun Bi Qiu (Baichuan Academy master) is the one who poisoned ML 10 years ago. When he went to fight Di Feisheng he was already poisoned.
I started watching A League of Noblemen and thought "what a cutie" and then I see he played LAN JINGYI and I didn't recognize him. I'm disappointed in myself 😂
Anyway, the ending got me all hyped for season 3!

Anyway, thanks for answering!
