I hate how preachy and self-important it is < this. Honestly loved the show and the "preachy monologues" during the show did not bother me, but the last one was just so on the nose I just had to roll my eyes. It bothered me how the big message of the show was supposed to be using our brain and thinking for ourselves, but then the last monologue feels more like concrete instructions on how to behave that we just supposed to accept.

I get watching shows for escapism, but there still should be a minimal effort made to make the writing AT LEAST make a little bit of sense hahaha But when by the end of the show they tell me that the villains, whose only motivation for doing all the villain shit was his love for his dead master, was saved by love he felt for said master... I'm like - make it make sense 🤡

I knew this is the "power of love" type of deal, but I did not expect them to be this... straightforward and preachy about it 🤣 It had a whole ass narration showcasing how the love helped all the characters one by one 🙂

the ending was so ridiculous because a lot of bad things that happened were also done in the name of love... so what's the truth? 🤣🤣🤣

I dropped it few minutes into episode 1 the first time, but I decided to challenge myself, take recommendations from mdl and watch top3 dramas in my voting list, and sadly this was no1 🙂

It does not happen often in dramas. Many writers gives these aspect up because they fail to develop the plot and characters otherwise. This was such a nice surprise

no idea about the rules. They also are not supposed to confess to each other, but they kind of obviously do. Like Ju Mi saying her happy ending is being with Gyeo Re... how is this not breaking the rule that they can only confess during the final choice in the last episode 🙂

Production wise, this show is a bit of a mess tbh. I think they don't even show the scenes in actual chronological other ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

The drama successfully balanced moments of intense action and thrilling suspense with quieter, more introspective scene <- this! I liked how the drama managed to be both quick paced and intense AND have this slower moments that allowed me to think about the presented issues myself.

Realistically speaking, no way 4 completely different dudes would be so into one and the same girl.
So why is everyone so into JY? Because while the "baseline" for her personality stays consistent, she tweaks her behavior just the right amount (slightly, but visibly) to accommodate the personality of the person she is with. At the end of the day, everyone feels like she is just the right girl for them. And while I don't think it's wrong to be aware of the other person's personality and try to match their pacing and energy, I think that's something one has to be careful of when they are on a dating show. She claims to be into MG and him being her only pick, she should be more straightforward with other guys so they can move on. But she is not.

Compare how she acts on dates with the dudes, to how Gyeo Re acted toward Ju Mi during their date. At the end of it, it was clear for both Ju Mi and the viewers he likes someone else. But with JY... I never feel like she fully rejects someone. She always vibes just the right away with all the guys, it's impossible for them to move on. And honestly , if she was not sure about her feelings, I would have ZERO issue with it. But when she claims she is only into MG... that's when I start to have issues.

the whole show is literally made so they can go on dates with other people and explore their connections. JY literally has 1-2 dates with different guys each episode, so to act as if MG is in wrong here is a bit ridiculous, don't you think?

I think MG going on dates with other girls because he is confused about his feelings makes more sense than JY going on dates with other guys when she claims to only like MG 🙂

Spot on how they showed the "good" and "bad" sides of the magic. Sure, being confronted with how people think of him Adachi gained more confidence, but he also recognized how he starts to rely on siad power too much and how knowing everyone's thoughts is not really an ideal situation.

When the drama dropped on netflix literally everyone who watched it was going on and on on feeds about how much of cliche drama oppa he is, but how it suits him so well and we ain't even mad 🤣

the show became more and more addictive with each episode passing < this for sure. While i got annoyed with the plot twists, it was an engaging watch for sure.

You can never have a romance drama without the murder mystery < I honestly don't know why this trend in kdramas still exists 🤣 now, it's so hard to find just a rom-com without any thriller mystery sub=plots going on hahaha

There was actually a controversy about it being "too similar" to The Fault in our Stars, but at the end of the day, nothing really came out of it.

They just need to remove Ju Mi from the house and get her the panelist role 🤣

As much as I like Ji Young and think she is a nice person, I am getting REALLY frustrated how much of the focus she gets. This ain't k-drama where we have main and supporting characters. I rather watch others interact with each other even in a non romantic setting than the screentime being on her so much...

Drunk Gyeo Re is amazing. Min Gyu running after him is A+

🚘Rush Hour
Damn they were not on the same page about the vibe. Nana does not fit the loose type of dance, she is far better with sharp moves, so it felt a bit awkward.
Yeoreum interpreted the song probably the best. She had this street feel to it, but with her own unique charm.
Was it Zoa in the middle singing during first chorus? Damn it was awkward to watch.
Yeeun fitted the song well and had great styling. Also, she needs to rap with lower tones more, it fits her so much.


They had amazing ideas for the stage and the transitions between sections, but the whole performance lacked the energy and it felt just too... cute while also trying to be swag? Also, while it was good for the video format, if I was an live audience member it would feel a bit all over the place and I would have no idea where to look 🤣

🌞Weekend
Not gonna lie, just the intro put a smile on my face. This shit adorable. And i'm not even fan of the song, since it's not my style.
Seo Yeon is probably one of my favorites now. She really gets into the character.
But... honestly the performance overall was rather boring. As much as I thought Rush Hour was not that great either, it was still better than Weekend. Girls in Weekend should have thought how to make the performance seem more dynamic. I liked the rap part. I wanted them to be less soft in vocals and more fresh and bubbly.

🥲If We Ever Meet Again
Vocal wise I have nothing more to say than that they killed it. Usually I prefer Kei's tone, but here I actually enjoyed Bora's parts more. My favorite part both vocally and visually wise - Bora's hitting that high note right before bridge. that said... because their tones are a bit similar the chorus and ad-libs blended a bit toooooo much and honestly the last section of the song was not that enjoyable to listen to.

💘 Hopeless Romantic
Dohwa leading the meeting with the producer in a strong unnie way was the best thing EVER 🤣
The stage was PERFECTION. Love how simplistic it was because it perfectly fitted the song and the meaning behind it. They picked exactly the right members to singing. I cried. Juri's voice was AMAZING and literally made to for this song. Probably my favorite performance from the whole show so far.

⭐Wannabe
I liked the guitar idea but that was such a weak smash 😅 Riina needs some time in front of the mirror. She has the same face in all song - this smiling one. And for some songs it's just not fitting. I think she needs to learn to relax it more. Unpopular opinion (?), but Sangha is not that good of a rapper 🙂 I don't know... the stage was rather boring...

⏳Time Of Our Life
Liked it more than Wannabe, but I wish the girls were more carefree and energetic and less cute. I really wanted to feel that unlimited energy teens have 😅 Loved the idea of taking the photo with the audience. That was literally brilliant. It;s basically saying the time of their lives was right there performing and the audience is part of it, so they want to keep it as an amazing memory.
