I think you misunderstood what I meant. It's not about him being energetic and talkative, it's about how he acts these traits. His behavior and movement is so animated it's on a level of theatre actors for kids plays where they have to exaggerate every facial expression and movement so the kids will get it. His acting has the sitcom vibes, while everyone else's does not, hence for me he just does not fit into the picture - not because of the character's personality but how it is acted.

That ASMR channel is probably the dumbest thing about his character, they should have made him game commentator or something. Dude not once had his volume on lower than 100% but he has ASMR channel? BLs are just a small sub-genre of lgbtq shows. What we are saying is more shows with gay characters that are not romance driven, but still have romance as a side story.
There are also many dramas that are neither gay nor straight because they have no romance. Or where just a sub sub plot is romance so they could not be classified as either straight nor gay since the romance is not the driving plot

well... i overall think ment could not give less fucks about rappers in this show 😭 I think this is the first time when the rap is so overlooked in any of the survival shows I have seen. This season is all about dancing, and if you have outstanding vocals - then that saves you. But there is close to no truly amazing rappers, and the few good ones are rarely ever highlighted for their rapping and mostly because of their dancing or overall stage presence.

Also, they are doing him dirty lol during home performance not him slaying this solo dance during the bridge but the performance video having massive zoom on the vocals hitting these high notes. Not like they could have showed a wide shot so we would see both the dance AND who sings the high notes 🤡 so yeah, sadly I don't think mnet cares.

Overall I think there are 4 types of trainees left:
1. Mnet for sure wants in debut (only a few, not even 9)
2. 10+ from which they want to fill the rest of the group.
3. Trainees mnet could not care less about neither in a positive nor negative way.
4. mnet would do anything they can with the evil editing to make sure they will not debut.

I feel like Jong Woo is in that 3rd category 🥲

as for the Hui being in Pentagin, I have close to zero hopes Cube will renew contracts with them this year. Cube has a history of not renewing contracts with rather successful groups 🥲 I hope I'm wrong tho.

X1 was a mess from rigged voting to production to promotion etc. I am sure agencies would riot at some point if they had to lose their best talent for this long. After 5 years some of these people would be way too old to re-debut in their respected agencies, it makes no sense.

4. Oh i was planning to put Matthew in it too, but I also feel like he is digging his own grave so mnet does not really have to do much 🙂 Being a leader without leadership skills, which highlight the "incompetence" instead of his strong points. Picking Love Killa which has demanding choreography when his strongest points are his vocals. Picking sexy strong concept when he is a baby (honestly, for me the whole love killa performance was a flop, but that's a controversial opinion to have 🤡). I love Matthew, but I honestly think he is so high in rankings simply because he left extremely good impression in the beginning episodes and that carried him so far.

5. I feel like they might be pushing Tae Rea now because they figure out since they won't have Hui, who will be main vocal to belt them notes 😅

6. I LOVE HARUTO! But I also feel like Ment does not give a fuck about him. They neither try to make him less nor more popular.

Krystian was obvious from the start. They gave him close to zero screen time in first two episodes (legit just a few reactions to other trainees), but he still managed to be like 20-something in ranking so mnet panicked and went full on evil editing on him.

I honestly think it will be 2 members - Keita and Zhang Hao. Even if Matthew debuts, I cannot think of him a G member, when dude is Korean, he trained in Korean company etc. Saying Korean trainees that happened to be born somewhere else are part of the global side of the show is just funny and a "smart" cheat from mnet to have "global" group but still mostly Koreans in it 🤡

it's not gonna be permanent tho, they will disband in like 2 years.
