I clearly said "skill level it's all good". It's also true all he does in sexy concept, and for my standards, idols should be more versatile.
I don't really have a top9 I want to see debut, because this would require too much thinking (who could take what position, are all the skills needed covered etc.), but I do have top6 trainees I simply enjoy watching and will check out even after the show is done.
1. Park Han Bin
2. Han Yu Jin
3. Zhang Hao
4. Gun Wook
5. Haruto
6. Ollie
But yeah, Park Han Bin is my TOP1 choice forever. This child is just perfect. From personality, to skill, to taste in music, to energy - he has it all.
It's good to know what you are good at, but damn as an idol you need to be more flexible with the themes.
Is he versatile or just really good at being sexy on stage?
Now that I rewatched his fancam of theme song... I fear it might be the case. Skill level it's all good, but if the song is not... sexy, he kind of loses the spark.
Not gonna lie, I am greatly disappointed with how the mid evaluation works. It feels like the judges expect perfection from a day of practice. It's ridiculous.
I LOVE UNIT B lol Dance team practice, hears the high notes from vocal team next door and stars cheering 🤣
i legit just believe they picked the right leaders and even if they were 3 separate sub unites they still felt like a group as a whole. You could see how well they guided all the members and how well they used each other skills to fix any possible mistakes. They were also clever with arrangements. Like, using original hook instead of wasting time to come up with something new, or using just 3 skilled members for the intro of the choreo, so there is less moves to learn by other members.
Also they seem to be mentally the strongest, maybe because they have quite a few older members. They went into it with the the idea of enjoying the stage and you could see they had fun practicing, while the other teams were too desperate to prove something and they stressed themselves out, and it fucked up the whole learning process.
Rap C - My Bag
I liked it. I feel like it had a lot of highlights and moments I adore, but there were also some moments I was meh about... I liked J-Min the most.
Rap A - If I'll Die tomorrow
oof. Honestly... good stage. I'm more of a hype song type of a girl, but this just sucked me in and I could not take my eyes off the screen. Especially JunSeok's part.
Rap D - Fiance
😬 a bit... messy? On paper the performance was good, but there was no feel to it. I was getting bored. I also feel like rap wise, it was just weak...
Rap B - DDaeng DDaeng DDaeng
WHO THE FUCK COULD POSSIBLE BEAT THIS PERFECTION IT WAS SO GOOD I WANT TO CRY.
Vocal C - Way Back Home
damn they practiced A LOT to deliver these runs and hamonizations.
There for sure was an element of her just enjoying seeing how far parents would go and that they would abandon their own child because she told them to do so. But I think it was also a scare tactic to make everyone else follow her even more strongly. Also, the more horrifying things you make your followers to do, the smaller chance they will leave because if they do, that's when the guilt happens. Most of them would rather believe the child was a demon and they did the right thing and keep living in the cult than admit they tortured and killed innocent child - it's not something that's easy to live with.
Also, she finally knows he got no money from the house! Watch him find out the truth and get even more depressed tho, because he already has feelings for her, but now he will know his mother ruined her whole life 🤡 I am ready for the pain.
They were so soft in this eps. Bless them. I want them happy.
Also the older sister is such a mess in terms of romance lol I mean, it seems she will end up with the friend dude, but right now she is meeting a younger guy who is a friend of her younger brother omg 😅
He criticized a member about speaking for others and not just himself, while he also spoke for him in the interview saying that he has this and this style of rap making, instead of letting the guy talk for himself. I just cannot stand people who criticize in others what they themselves do.
He said, even if he is called dictator he will not let the team go into a wrong direction. What it told me is the fact he wants to force his opinion, and not convince members to his opinion.
And what's most important: judges criticized all the guys the same way - the fact they tried to show off their skills instead of making a good performance, and it left the audience with no space to even breathe. It's valid for the guy to say they all need to redo their parts and fix mistakes, because everyone got the same feedback. But Hee Do made it seem like this one guy was bad and everyone else did fine. the kid LITERALLY just repeated what judges said, almost word by word, and Hee Do went: speak for yourself don't bring down other members. When judges themselves said "the rest 5 of you".
This learning dances fast is always an issue in all shows like that. You can have an amazing dancer who struggles with remembering the moves at first. But if you give him enough time, the end result will be better than the quick learner. So the question is - do they want good results or quick results?
And omg yes for singing. Most of these idols don't even sing them high notes, they scream them, with literally no control over them. It's not even nice to listen to.
As for Hee Do - he is blacklisted for me, I have no patient for guys like that. These contestants always pick the wrong people for the leader role. They never take into consideration the skills leader should have, but go for specific idol skills. So he was in many survival shows, he became leader, even tho he sucks at communicating with people and motivating them.
You complaining about other people complaining about the tan also adds to the number of comments about tan.
No one ever complain if the compliments about the drama are exactly the same, but if everyone criticizes the same aspect, it's an annoyance and an issue out of a blue.
Light skin was literally (not only in Korea) a symbol of higher social status, because it meant you did not have to do manual work outside, hence you did not get tanned skin.
And let's go crazy and say she never had another man. They guy he thought she was cheating was I don't know... her doctor. She still lied to ML for a year at least, and then broke up with him with no explanation and left him believe he was cheated on for such a long time and she left him for another dude. No matter what her reason was to do that, she is not a victim in this scenerio. I legit hate how writers always try to give some pity stories to excuse bullshit behavior 🤡
I don't even think there is anything wrong with shows being just fluff and that's the only thing they can offer, but even fluff shows can be done well and memorable, and mediocre...
