You`d be wrong. There is a very crucial part of `Because This is My First Life` that is missing in `Would You Marry Me` and that is THE DEPTH < this. The whole second half felt so... empty 🥲

The way she lets her ex walk all over her was so annoying. < this... that would only make sense in two situations: she still has feelings for him, or he was actually abusive and she is scared of him. Which none of these happened here 😅

More or less similar thoughts. I loved first 4 episodes, then it got progressively worse with each new ep... They focused and gave screen time to so many unnecessary plotlines and characters 🥲

when the ex mother in law showed up in the last episode I was like: why the fuck are we focusing on that now 🤣🤣

Too little internal conflict, too much external bullshit.

Maybe possibly the biggest disappointment of 2025?
Leads were so mild and mediocre and boring. The romance felt like a side plot.
There is no real main plot - the ratio of screentime between the characters and plots was so fucking off it's crazy.
The conflicts were all externally set up, and had close to no internal impact on anyone.
What a waste of time 😭

Someone can socially be manly and top, but romantically and sexually be more submissive. Putting aside sex, he actually enjoyed in various occasions being taken care of by HY. I liked that a lot.

to be fair, it's not all. it;s 4 so far. And it's pretty realistic. She does not approach men she cannot control. All of them had some issues, traumas etc, they were all vulnerable and she used that. It's 100% realistic. People like that know how to find the perfect victim, they know who can be used and who cannot.

sure, but it's literally exactly the same situation with 99.9% of serial killers, abusers etc. Vast majority of them had extremely abusive upbringing and it's "not their fault" who they became. But at the same time, it's their decision to not seek help. This idea that it's completely out of her hand who she is right now and how she behaves is a dangerous approach. Will that apply to all criminals? Most of them have sad stories they ca use to justify their actions 🥲

That said, antisocial personality disorder is a tricky situation, coz while it can be managed, the treatment needs to happen early on, and it might be way too late for her. No fait, but she is also literally danger to society and it's not fait for innocent people she uses either...

it's so much and and refreshing to have actually awful character as a main lead. Usually at best they are questionable with how they achieve their good goal 😅 Here we have pure egocentrism

For example if she gets divorced the husband cannot just get her out of hospital to retraumatize her and use her for an interview for a second. Seems like a big deal. How can she heal when she is dragged out of hospital for advertisement 🤡

Also knowing how psychiatric care works, she most likely has little to no agency right now, and all the decisions about her hospitalization are made by her husband. He won't have that power over her if they divorce.
