The thing is SML is only involved with FL, that's his whole point of existing in the show, while ML has other plot lines that take some of his screen time (the past events, current incident, cheer club overall, his past love life etc.).

For him these were the casual hook ups basically, and the moment the spart was gone, he was out because he saw no benefits in staying in said relationship. Why? Because he never cared about any of his girlfriend. His only goal was fun, so when the fun was over, he was out. Obviously not good. So I totally agree with your reasoning why Hae Yi never even considered him a potential boyfriend and why I don't think they would work out well together.

The first episode was a bit of the let down for many people, especially in terms of acting. One would assume people improve with time, but many of us do not see it here.

Also, I feel like telling two stories that are parallel to each other plot wise is extremely hard. Like, I honestly could not care less about Dean and Pharm and I'm going to skip ALL their scenes with each other that basically rehash UWMA, but I also understand that it's impossible to not include any of these when the stories of these two couple happen at the same time and they all know each other.

I just feel like making it one, but longer show would have better results from a pacing perspective.

You won;t be able to walk freely for 6 month. The longer you wait and the bigger the tumor the more it will affect your daily life.
