Like... knowing the cycle of abuse, his father was just as abused by his father. And he follows the same patter, instead of trying to break from it. I would gladly not see his face in season 2. Unless they make him the asshole they will try to bring down by the end. Coz ain't no redemption I can accept.
1. Naksu losing her memories. This for me is just a cheap way out of writing issue and dealing with change of cast (which makes sense character wise) and chemistry with Lee Jae Wook. For me, her losing memories will basically be starting from zero - new romance, new personality, new goal... new everything. It will basically make Naksu a new character, which will make it easier in terms of changing an actress, but it will (for me) be poorly executed plot, coz it's easy and cheap way out of an issue.
2. Will we get a PROPER closure for Jin Bu Yeon? It's one of my pet peeves when the writers introduce a character or a being that is "ridiculously" powerful, just to remove it from a show in some shady, "mysterious" way without proper explanation.
3. 3 years time jump. They are almost never executed well, and often they just serve as an easy way of not writing all the immediate consequences of events that happened. We get back to the plot when everything is yet again working well and settled. Grated, they might start with direct continuation of what happened in AoS 1, and only proceed with "3 years later" after for example 1 or 2 episodes.
Anyway, when the show finishes airing, I will seek answers for these 3 issues, and if I won't be happy with what I get, I won't bother watching. If they surprise me, I will be more than glad to finish the story.
Don't know how to explain. Like... everyone is trying too hard on this project.
Subjectively it can, even if it's well written. If someone does not feel like watching romance, goes into a drama that he thought would not have it, but at the end, there is a romance plot, it can lower someone's enjoyment of said show, And the quality of writing does not matter in situations like that.
If the one that left the note is the killer, meeting him in a secluded area makes no sense coz they won't tell her shit anyway. the only reason killer would want to meet her it to harm her.
If the one that left the note was not the killer, they obviously want to share some information - first checking out who they are and then for example leaving them a note to meet in a place that in more favorable to you makes more sense.
Going to a remote location, not knowing who you are meeting, while looking for a killer, knowing said person that wants to see you could potentially be the killer. If this is not dumb, nothing is dumb and all kdrama characters in the history of kdramas are smart ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Like, I don't know what are your standards of basic survival instinct, but she does not have it at all. Same as she just walked to the rich girl and 3 random girls who just by the looks made it obvious they are here to beat not talk.
Also, not literally police is investigating the murder. She said she wants the investigation to happen and the killer to be found - if she still gets herself involved, that's also stupid. the only reason she transferred was because there was no investigation. Now there is the investigation, and she still goes after the killer, instead of cooperating with the police 🤡
Girl is a dumb emotional teen who did not deal with the loss of her brother. She is not a criminal detective.
And that discussion was literally not everywhere. Literally no one really talked about it until she started.
The reason the incident happened makes no difference. The fact she is not careful AT ALL while going after a freaking killer is the point. Also, the brick thing for sure did happen because of the bro. O Sung just used his sister to make FL change schools. Because he is somehow involved and wants her out. Because she asks around. He is obviously more distressed about her being the twin than her knowing they are siblings. That's the real reason he wants her out.
Also what made her believe the rich girl won't do her any harm? In a school where kids go around raping people and killing others? I am sorry, but her lack of awareness of how fucked up people are in this school is ridiculous.
SHE LITERALLY DID ACT IRRATIONALLY FOLLOWING THE NOTE YET AGAIN instead of going to see the police 🤣
fuisdhfjsdh they are siblings? Well that's explains a lot 🤣🤣🤣
Ok Chan Mi is honestly annoying as fuck from a perspective of literally everyone at school. Bitch shows up and asks detail questions about shit that is sensitive and does not concern her (from others' perspective since no one knows she is the dead one's sister). Like damn the entailment. Imagine a kid dying and some bitch shows up and start snooping around and when asked why, she goes: I'm just curious ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
🤣🤣🤣🤣 I am sorry, but most kids would laugh at the person who poorly photoshopped the pic, and not the person that was photoshopped. Like damn this was done like 💩💩💩
Anyone tell me the logic behind Chan Mi not telling anyone right away she was attacked 🤡
Why Jae Beom lyyyiiinnggggg 😅 I mean, he obviously curious who the fuck it was too. Unless the why and who is about Chan Mi, as in who she is and why she transferred to the school. Also... Chan Mi can legit just go to the principal herself and say she was hit and they will check the CCTV, they will have to.
don't like Kook Ji Hyun anymore, coz she is dumb ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Don;t like Chan Mi either, coz she is also dumb.
why they always make female characters dumb.
At least White Hair seems to have brain.
I dislike majority of the character at the moment. Make them all suffer 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Yo this hit new levels of unrealistic with two dudes fighting high school at school with a knife... Especially since people involved in it are high profile in said school 🤣🤣🤣
So White Hair is probably the one who made the video public, seems like something she would do.
I am starting to find it both too much ridiculous bullshit and not enough ridiculous bullshit. Like pick a side - make it full makjang with breaking bones, or try to tone it down to be more realistic...
Picking something more realistic and mundane is actually a harder choice, coz it's not as easy to write an engaging story, especially when the target audience for the show are teens and young adults.
The date with Sun Ho was not genuine. The feelings behind it and the work that was put into it was, but the date itself was not. He was saying things he read on the internet, he did not share his interests nor really leaned into hers while planning the date. There was little to nothing for them to connect over, understand each other. It was fun, sure. But it felt more like a random hangout with a friend. It was a date that tells close to nothing about him as a person, and does not tap into who she was and what she cares about. It was a date he could take any girl on, as it was not really personal.
The date with Park Jung Woo was "real". He took a risk and became more vulnerable in front of her by trying to share his interest, knowing it can potentially backfire since she might not enjoy it. But it is who he is, and he wanted to show it to her. With the gift, he also showed that he listens to what she says and incorporates it in his actions towards her.
I'm also biased, because my idea of a perfect first date is one that things go wrong during - like here: not able to go to the planned restaurant, the place we wanted to visit being closed for renovation 🤣
