yeah I honestly did not like episode 1. Too much, too fast, everything there only to show how unhappy female lead is. Literally we found out nothing else about her as a character ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ But the ending of that ep made me hopeful, and episode 2 was truly better

No one says it's just the treatment in the work place lol It's everything about her character is episode one - workplace, boyfriend, dead mother, awful clothes, no peace in the public transport - anything and everything to make her look pitiful. As if just having awful job or not satisfying life was not enough for her to want a change 🤣

They made her character look borderline clinically depressed, but episode 2 it was nowhere to be seen. They exaggerated it so much, her quick change to this level of positive outlook just made little sense.

Episode 1 and 2 do not match mood wise. You can have a somber beginning and still do a good job transitioning to a more hopeful one. they failed. Coz they dumped all the bad things in 40 minutes and then went: but she is happy now 👍🏻

Honestly speaking, episode 1 was just bad. They went too over the top in trying to make her seem depressed and pathetic. It did not feel melancholic, it felt comical for me. Especially with these outfits, like damn they tried really hard to make sure the audience understand she is a "loser".

The tone of episode 1 and 2 do not match at all. The switch is not nice and gradual, it's like 2 different shows. If I must be honest, I'd say starting it from episode 2, and skipping first one completely does not sound like a bad idea.

All that, episode 2 was great and I cannot wait for next one 👍🏻

If they did more to establish Beom Seok's character in the first part, I would have no issue with him being more of the center in the 2nd. But he was kind of there, but not really, and then out of the blue everything was revolving around him...

Not to mention that the schools look like they had survived a bombing, an earthquake, and a foreign invasion < omg 🤣🤣🤣 sounds fun.

if this was classified by you as "more realistic", I am curious how wild it goes in Japanese ones. Coz damn nothing about fighting here was realistic, when they students tried to smash each other heads with baseball bats and stab each other with pens 🤣

Shi Eun was honestly amazing, Yeah, he has a bit (a lot) of psycho in him, but he was also really mature in his interactions with his friends.

The change of title might be because of the audience and not to create the confusion between the drama Voice. It's always better when your movie is the first one in the search, when someone's googles by the title... with Voice it would not happen.

for the ending, only small portion of the victims got the money - only from 2 newest scams. All the previous victims did not get their money back. Which seems realistic. Maybe not that fast (since they would be able to get the money only after the full investigation and prosecution is over), but there is a high chance they would be at least majority of it back. All the people from previous scams tho? Nope.

Shouldn’t the Chinese authorities be in charge? < yes and no. Depends on what police agrees to. Technically speaking these were Korean criminals, stealing from other Koreans. I would say China would for sure want to assist, don't think they would take the lead tho.

I did spend some time thinking about the show, rewatching scenes while writing the review, since it's all not so "obvious" to me, as I am straight. But I'm glad the effort was worth it and I managed to grasp the depth of the show, even with my limited personal understanding of the topic, since I never experienced something similar myself.

as far as I know, it is the same person, he got his hands on slowing the aging, and took over the Nine Clans Association as the head of it.

Also, the only actor who got to play the role for all the shows he character shows up, as far as I know 🤣

I feel like I should add a legend about the type of lines and how to navigate it 🤣 also, it's hella personal. Like... I added "Emo Boi" under Zhang Qi Ling.

There are some characters missing (literally a few), that were supporting ones and barely had any meaningful connections to other characters and that show up only in like one drama.

So, episode 3 was for sure better than episode 2. I liked how they focused on building partnership between Do Jin and Ho Gae, I feel like they will be quite an interesting duo.

Love Gong Myung Pil, probably my favorite side character.

Still don't care about the big bad guys and find that plotline useless and the soon to be downfall for overall simple, silly but entertaining show.

They better not create love triangle, or my rating will dive lower than Mariana Trench

Same. I'm okay with romance, if it's between Do Jin and Seol. It would be awesome if the writers stepped out of their cliche box and make it happened.

oh it was better. I definitely liked how they focused on building the friendship between Ho Gae and Do Jin. The case was more interesting too.

If someone pays attention to continuality of the scene, this can be a big thing, because it takes the out of the story, it reminds them each and every time the story is fake, these are actors etc. So it's harder to immerse in whatever is going on screen, harder to connect to the characters and plot.

I honestly did not pay attention to the hair, but it takes just a few seconds to actually step out of you bubble and think about other viewers perspective. Everyone has a different way of watching shows, so it's not good to judge everyone by your personal standards. Small thing for you can be a big deal for others ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

episode 2... less exciting than 1. Painfully cliche 🙃

First of all, what a missed opportunity to showcase an internal struggle and guilt for Song Seol. Honestly, the teen took 5 times lethal dose, whenever she got oxygen or not, she would be dead... just a little bit later. If they created the scenerio where the oxygen was truly the reason they were unable to save her... that would be far more interesting.

Another thing, I could not do Song Seol's job. If a bitch slapped me for "killing" her daughter, after she herself went: don't break the door, coz it costs a lot to put new one, EVEN THO HER DAUGHTER MIGHT BE POSSIBLY DYING IN THE ROOM, I would just slap her back. Like, bitch was a bad mother what what they showed, now she plays heartbroken when her child is dead?

Having deja vu. Literally finished Weak Hero today, and there was also basically same plot about gambling app that makes you lose money 🤣

Not sure if kids under 14 should get a free from jail card even after killing someone 🙃

Also, I don't think this is the type of a show that needs this big bad villain as a background noise 😅
