it's true tho. Sure, being rejected always sucks, but unless they had unrealistically high confidence in themselves so it did not even cross their mind they might be rejected by someone in the show, they came mentally prepared it might happen.

When they leave the show they will literally have even more people loving them and being interested in them.

The same way JiA could have thank Hyun Seung instead of saying "I agree with you. There must be a reason why we met here" which was just questionable statement as she was rejecting him right after it.

For me, both cases are not that serious. Sure, they both should just pick whomever they wanted to pick without addressing others, but I assume the production team gave them some pointers to act this way to make it more "entertaining".

I just asked the OP if in their perception JiA's behavior was also disgusting, since it was not that far different from what Si Hun did.

I did not think what JiA did was some awful thing. The show is not serious, they all knew each other 8 days at best. That's why I did not say she acted disgusting, but asked if the OP thought so, since they view what Sihun did as disgusting. I presented a question, not a statement.

JiA is a skilled woman who knows how to manipulate and play with dudes. She knows running after dudes would not make them interested. "out of respect" 🤣 respectful would be not leading someone on if you know you don't want to be with them.

Sihun NEVER chased after Sumin either. She asked him to talk, she picked him for the date. How is this any different than JiA and Hyunseung, except JiA being woman and Sihun being a man?

By your logic, Sihun was also just acting respectful entertaining Sumin who was going after him ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Sumin knew what she was getting into, since Sihun told her how much he liked/was attracted to JiA, even before their date in paradise ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

🤣 yeah from viewers perspective, who saw them all the time in all dates her intentions are obvious, for the dudes they were not. From Cha Hyun Seung perspective they clicked extremely well, and she was interested in him. Even some viewers were not sure whom she pick by the end. So either what she did was also disgusting, or what Sihun did was not. OR some people have double standards ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Would you rather him pick Su Min out of pity when he was not interested in her and just pick her coz he was grateful for the paradise date? People acts as if he cheated, when he knew her for 3 days and EVERYONE knew he was still into JiA.

While him going to Sumin and saying thank you is that manner was rather low, I don't thin he did anything wrong with picking JiA. They were suppose to pick the person they were the most attracted to, not the person who they were grateful for. It was a dating show, to "find your friend". I appreciate how he still went for JiA knowing he will be rejected, instead of using Sumin to not leave solo.

I feel like the issue is, both of them barely got any screen time.
Ye Won was only shown when she was interacting with people when they were asking her for advice etc.
Realistically speaking, they both picked each other just so they don't leave alone 🤣

people are playing detective and they figured out that Jin Taek showed up in So Yeon's vlogs in the background (based on the exactly same outfit he showed himself on his ig). So people assume that if they still meet after the recording, they might still be dating.

actually, there is one couple that apparently still dates.

It amazes me how the same behavior from the dudes is seen as "red flags" when in girls it was seen as a good thing.

it's not about the fact she picked Hyun Joong, it's how her saying that to Hyun Seung before she picked Hyun Joong is not different than what Si Hun and Se Hoon did with the girls.
Just pointing out how the dudes are being criticized, while JiA is not, even tho the behavior is the same.

I don't really see hate towards JiA, at least not on mdl. I see people saying they did not like her, or did not vibe with her, or they did not like her in the show, but that's hardly hate.

Yeah, So Yeon who was pissed at Jin Taek coz he was interested in someone else when she was ignoring him, when she herself was interested in Se Hoon at the same time 🤣

So Yeon who did not take into consideration Se Hoon's feelings and just said what she wanted to say and thought was right at the worst moment possible, when it was obvious for everyone else, that it was wrong thing to do (which was pointed out by many people in the show lol).

So Yeon who even on the last date was thinking about picking someone else and not Jin Taek for her date in Paradise 🤣

I loved her a lot at first, but later she started to act quite immature and became one of my least fav people on the show.

it was awkward. He could have give her a handshake like Se Hoon did to Min Ji, like that seemed more sincere from his side, when he just wanted to acknowledge she did well and thank her.

But how Si Hun said "thanks" and then left before she even had a chance to react. Yeah, that was meh from him.

I would say he was honest and made the right choice.

It would be EXTREMELY unfair towards her, if he picked her simply coz he was grateful she picked him for the date, while having no real feelings towards her. Would you want to be picked this way? It would make me feel awful.
