I like how Poia subbed it up in a comment below, how it's fun to dissect a drama - why exactly it is such a failure for us.
All the memes 🤣
Not to mention, recent studies show that psychopaths can actually emphasize with people, they just don't do it spontaneously as an uncontrol reaction. They are actually great at reading people, and they don't need to excessively study human behavior like that. Everything they showed him "learning" and "studying" fitted ASD far more.
Again, it would be a completely different story if they did not make us believe he studied all these things. If you have no knowledge, you won't connect dots, you won't think there is something wrong. But he did. And again, his training completely did not match something that psychopath would even have to do. It's far closer to something ASD deals with.
They literally showed us he has a lot of knowledge about psychopathy if he decided to train himself to mimic emotional responses and read emotions of others, so how could have know a lot about the disorder while also being completely blind to the fact his symptoms do not line up with most of diagnostic criteria 🤣
Like, this is a serious version of Psychopath Diary, but in the psychopath diary it was all dark comedy so I could laugh about.
As for Nirvana - I often call it podcast, coz they for good 80% of the plot showed us characters talking about the events, and rarely showed the events. If I only get to read in subs about the plot, I can as well just read a book. So yeah, I disliked the type of directing. I also REALLY disliked Chang Su, so I kind of wanted him to fail. He was too perfect in the most unrealistic way. There were no stakes coz he was always 1000 steps ahead of everyone and had a backup plan for his backup plans.
I don't often hate watch myself, but when I do, it's a whole entertaining ride.
Hope-Watching - Wishing for Miracle.
These two would not be a bad idea. I think Hope-Watching could be hard to write, since this term does not REALLY exist as a mainstream thing. I truly only ever saw it in that one article, but I felt like it does corresponds well with many people's experiences. But yeah, damn not a bad idea. Went and claimed both on forum 🤣
Thank you for the motivation to write them 😊
screen shit example of me watching Well-Intended Love 🤣
I would also count Tonhon Chonlatee as hate watch. These are the "top" 3 from this year. To be honest, I don't hate watch often. I mostly just drop the dramas I dislike, so it has to be a special type of a show for me to finish it even tho I dislike it 🤣
To be honest, me ranting about drama has nothing to do with how much I enjoy it. I just like analysing things. So I will rant about dumb stuff if a drama I am going to rate 10, and a drama I will rate 2 🤣
