Title Idol: The Coup Spoiler
Episode 6 actually gave me doubts about the ship. First who is the woman jihan mentioned and second the sexy dance…
Whoever the woman is, he is not happy about it, so no need to be worried.
Sexy dance if anything will be the "i feel jealous" type of deal.
With how they present Jae Hyuk questioning his choices, wanting to excuse his decisions and explain them to Jenna, with how he was worried about her, how they showed him thinking about their disagreements - literally typical male lead shit. Not to mention the romance ost that played a few times for Jenna and Jae Hyuk's scenes. Plus the preview for episode 7? With that "smiling at each other at the end" deal?
It's either these two, or no romance if anyone asks me.

Ah, episode 6 makes me so happy. They are confirming the ship left and right and now I can watch the rest of the show with peace in my heart 🤣

I must say tho, I am 100% ot4 girl, and I rather have Elle gone than back with the team. Each time shit got bad she left. It happened with 2 teams. No guarantee she won't do it again when a new better opportunity shows up.

Also, love Yoon Se Yul too. He is mean, but in such a funny way. And his interactions with Hyun Ji and gold.

You summed up everything pretty well! Episode 5 was satisfying as hell to watch when it comes to Jae Hyuk reactions…
Exactly. It works coz even tho he is selfish and annoying CEO with inflated ego, we can clearly see he actually gets affected by shit Je Na does and says to him.

It's a truly great enemies to lovers type of deal 🤣

literally took the words from my mouth about the witch hunt game.... the players wasted so much time and for what…
Taking into consideration they literally set this whole camp out to beat the games and always took into consideration the type of a game they are playing, them throwing the rules out of the window and just killin everyone made no sense...

''Baby idol'', you're not sorry at all 🤣🤣 Agree with everything.
He is a baby tho, and his baby face is not helping with me trying to take him seriously 🤣

Perfect example how cliche can work and be done well. First, you need actors who have good chemistry with each other. Second, you need a set up that makes sense - why is this dynamic and power imbalance possible. Third, you need to show that the interaction fuck up both parties, and it's not just a dude having fun and toying with the lady.

There is nothing more satisfying than how close to tears Jae Hyuk is from anger and frustration after every chat he has with Je Na 🤣 Nothing better than seeing him feeling guilty after his actions made him feel like trash later on 🤣

Sorry for baby idol, but he barely exists on screen.

It shows the "dark side" in a more realistic way, but it still has hints of the "Disney solving conflicts" type…
For me it's really entertaining. While first two episodes got me in for the idol side and to see more grim reality of it, episode 3 and 4 (especially 4) interested me because of Je Na's character and her conflict with Jae Hyuk. I'm curious to see what will win - her desperation or his narcissism.

Is the plot of this drama more realistic than imitation?
It shows the "dark side" in a more realistic way, but it still has hints of the "Disney solving conflicts" type of deal. But nowhere near what happened in Imitation.

I'm just a user too. All the information is available for everyone. And if we are unsure of anything, we can always ask on forum in the support part. And if something is just our assumptions, it's better to not include it in posts and comments, as it may lead to more misunderstandings.

There is an issue with reviews on this website, that's for sure. When people write reviews even before a show starts to air, but it's good to first check all the information before accusing someone of writing a review just to get (honestly useless at the moment) coins.

Writing a review on a drama you dropped after 3 episodes is even more tasteless. Why would you waste your precious…

Title Idol: The Coup Spoiler
I’m shipping them because I’m kind of imagining them as their characters. Like I think that since he’s been…
18 is adult in most countires. It's not about the legally of it. He looks hella young with his baby face. He looks closer to 17 than that 25. Also his character is for sure not 25. At best 23. Since idols usually debut in their teens. Hani's character is probably around 25 by the standards of the industry.

Anyway, the problem is not just the actors age, but also how old and mature they look. And he looks like a kid.

I feel so lonely on this Jenna and Jae Hyuk ship 🤣
Baby idol is cute, but... he is a baby. Next to Hani he feels miscast, because he looks like her teenage younger brother.
Ad even putting aside how the characters are written, I believe Hani and Shi Yang simply have better on screen chemistry.

Review Don't Say No Spoiler
So I'm not the only one who felt awkward after watching Fiat's mom abusing him. With no reaction on this matter…
Taking into consideration how serious of a matter it was, they did barely any work to present it in reasonable way. At least with the mom most characters had negative reaction to what was going on, but with the blackmail sex, how everyone focused on how Leo felt about it and not Fiat was just... gross.

Review Bite Me Spoiler
This review will not contain any spoilers because even if I try there really is not much to spoil < truth 🤣

I am honestly convinced they simply did not have enough content written for that many that long episodes. This should have been a short 8 episode 20 minutes long each, and just based on that it would be so much better, coz they would speed it up a bit and removed all the slow unnecessary elements.

Title Idol: The Coup Spoiler
Elle is such a hypocrite, she was looking for other opportunities with different agencies herself. Hyun ji said…
I think it was because she was willing to give up everything and try the last time, she set her mind, but right when she started to believe maybe they can make it work, everything went to hell when she found out the group will be disbanded and only Je Na can stay in the agency.

So if Je Na was not trying so hard to convince them to take that last chance and work hard, it would not hit her hard. But she was convinced, she saw the hope in Je Na, but then reality slapped her in the face.

So while that reaction was hypocritical, it made perfect sense taking into consideration the situation. Especially since she did not know Je Na said: either we all survive, or we all die.

+ from the start they had different takes on it. Elle did not hide her gigs and what she was doing. She from the start was saying this is a sinking ship. While Je Na was trying to convince them all to stay and work hard together. So hearing she might survive herself while they will all be dumped felt like betrayal. Realistically speaking, Je Na should have told all of them the true, as they have the right to know what might be their future, so they can prepare.
