The first episode was great, so I'm hyped about first episode. It's not like I said this is the best drama ever. I just said the first episode was amazing and got my hyped. Damn, people cannot enjoy shit anymore ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I am completely in love. This is a whole next level of me enjoying rom-com's first episode. THE FUCKING CHEMISTRY I AM DECEASED! We are blessed with this pairing. Honestly, how fucking rare it is to have both female and male lead in a rom-com being competent actors? 😭

Jung So Min has been one of my favs for ages. Girl looks soooooooooooooooo stunning in this drama. And her character is so much fun. And then we have the king of rom-coms Jung Hae In looking hot as fuck 🔥 And them together Fuck, I am not surviving this.

The bickering is on point, but also the care they have for each other, which is just going to get more and more obvious as the drama progresses 😭 For now it's just hints here and there, but hints so obvious they make me excited for what's to come!

Also, I am 100% on board with second couple! Which is so fucking rare! But they are also so fucking cute! Royalty of kindness 👑

9 episodes in and I am completely in love. Not gonna lie, the beginning were not that great for my relationship with this show, but damn it creeped into my head and now it's gonna live rent free. Bitch, I feel like I should be paying for it to stay 🙃

So why I struggled at first? I just got nothing of what I expected 🤣 From few pictures I saw here and there and that opening scene, I was expecting some intense scheming and politics and blood and trauma inducing scenes (I'm sure ALL of that is coming tho 🙂)m but what I've got was a slice of life comedy and business shenanigans. And omg it's great! The comedy is so good, because it's truly situational and build on who the characters are and their circumstances and not some random jokes. And I was actually really into Mian Tang dealing with all the men and making her business successful.

That said, even tho it's all fun and light, damn you can sense to upcoming angst! Like some lines hit hard, because even though at the moment they have no impact, knowing the situation the characters are in, you know they will hit hard later. They are painful reminders of what's to come and I LIVE FOR IT! Like, I LIVE for the moment angst hits 🤣

Cui Xing Zhou is a great character. He is both goofy and obviously smart and driven. As I already said, I LOVE AND LIVE for Zhang Wan Yi's face. He can be a meme master one scene, romantic lead with tender gaze in another, and badass and strong Prince. And it all makes sense. He makes it make sense and still create a cohesive character. FUCK YEAH!

Right now I LOVE Liu Mian Tang, but it took me a minute to understand her character. Which makes sense. Bitch does not know who she is, how am I supposed to know 🤣 So it was actually fun to discover who she is and what is her personality, strengths and weaknesses literally with her. And let me tell you - she is great. Smart, driven, loyal, strong, assertive.

And then we have the golden trio: Xing Zhou, Mian Tang and Mama Li 🤡

I'm so sorry for Lu Wen and his ansgty ass, but the fact I finished A Journey to Love not that long time ago, I just cannot with his second lead pain, I find it funny 🤡 Chang Hua Sen is doing great job tho 👍🏻

I binge watched 6 episodes today and I NEED MORE. Honestly, this drama is just so much fun 😭

Don;'t need to be defensive when nowhere I said it's child pornography for sure, just pointing out how it is valid to raise concerns with history of all uncut versions of BLs having heavily explicit scenes and what the source material is in the first place. And how arguments about age of consent do not apply for a filming and distributing content, and child pornography laws discussions would make sense. While I won't watch the show myself since I cannot support this type of casting, checking out feeds and comment section to find out why the uncut version exists and what's in it to validate it in the first place.

In 50 shades of Gray there was more talking sitting in the table about the "contract" than the actual explicit scenes. If anyone watched it for the sex scenes, I feel bad for them coz they got nothing. The books tho... that's where the sex happens. Also I'm from Poland, we produced 365 Days which was far more explicit than 50 shades of grey 🤡

Child pornography does not equal overall pornography - sexual content that would fall under child pornography would not be seen as pornography overall if done by adults. Suggestive pictures of adults are not seen as pornography, while they can be prosecuted under possession of child pornography if depicting children. It's not 1:1.

that's kind of my point, by the definition of child pornography stated in Thai laws, it does fit. But somehow when it's entertainment industry, especially BL, somehow no one sees it as child pornography... even tho it literally fits under the definition of child pornography.

"obscene" can be the word to argue, but I am also not sure how well translated it is, in most laws they use "explicit" and we know how explicit the uncut version of BLs can get 🥲 So it's weird how technically this could fall under the definition of child pornography, but somehow it does not because reasons.

People be talking about legal age of consent as if we are talking about a private relationship, when we should be discussing child pornography laws, especially now that we know there is uncut version of the show, and we all know what uncut truly means for Thai BLs 🙃

Sure you can argue about the "obscene" being the key word here, but Thailand is so weird about child pornography coz technically they leave some room for "creativity" of how to cheat with the word "obscene", (but that also might be a mistranslation and it's about "explicit"), but they also have more broad category of what kind of materials can be considered child pornography.

Here's the thing tho... I'm "curious" how "explicit" the scenes are going to be, since they have uncut version. Coz age of consent is about consenting to sexual relationship which is different than filming sexual acts and then distributing it globally - that's child pornography 🤡

Realistically age of consent has nothing to do here, because it's not about a private relationship of two people, but about filming and distributing sexual content filmed with a child 🙃

omg yes! I was at first sure Sang Pil likes Hye Jin I even shipped them after first episodes 😂 I still think he did in the past, I think she was his first love 🤡 Poor Sang Pil 😭

I actually dropped The Tale of Nokdu 🤡 The plot did not do it for me. I liked the romance in Radio Romance, but it's all thanks to Yoon Doo Joon. I replied elevator scene like 10 times when I watched it 😂 And that scene had nothing to do with her, since she was just standing there and he just backtracked to double check if it was her when the door was closing 🤡🤡🤡🤡

On paper it’s a story with depth about overcoming fear of abatement, fighting for what you feel is right, moving on from past traumas, gaining independence, fighting for your own happiness. In reality all these themes were shallow and barely elaborated on. They were introduced in a few lines and closed in a few lines. There was no real journey, but rather a TLDR version of it.

It's so basic, but from the start I knew it would be and it's kind of what made me enjoy it. How this drama just... flows like 4567486754 other rom-coms, nothing stands out, you know EXACTLY what you will get. But sometimes that's how one can relax

Kim So Hyun has freaking dead eyes when she is looking at the actor who is supposed to be her romantic interest and it's one of the funniest things ever 😂😂
The 2nd couple stole the whole show and I love them so much 💖

I made my comment because people are creating lies about what happened to defend Ba-Mhee. She made a huge deal of Tae forgetting the anniversary, when it was her who forgot Tae told her he will work a lot to be free on their anniversary. So this whole "she left lonely and sad he forgot the anniversary and he was ignoring her" is ridiculous, when she knew he did not forget and he was working his ass off, overworking actually, to make sure they can celebrate together 😂

If I saw my partner did not eat anything I made him the whole day, and I see him literally sleeping on his desk because he is that exhausted from work, and I know he is overworking because he wants to be free on the anniversary (which she should have known because he literally told her and she nodded and said okay), I'd be concern, not annoyed or disappointed. I'd tell them to slow down and that we can celebrate the anniversary one day later, because their health is more important. Her being disappointed because he was overworking himself shows she is egocentric. It was her who failed at communicating, not him. He told her he will be extremely busy before the anniversary and she with a smile on her face told him it's okay. And then when it started to bother her, she told about it to everyone, BUT HIM. How it's his fault that she failed to vocalize her needs? In his mind he was not neglecting her, because she herself (again) with a SMILE on her face told him it's fine and did not tell him when she changed her mind?

She actually needs someone like Judy as her partner who will give her so much attention that she thrives < as for this, I don't think any adult can actually give her the level of attention she wants. Judy is obviously also quite focused on her career and professional. What will happen when she needs to focus on a busy project? I don't think any working adult can meet Ba-Mhee's current expectations, because she puts all her focus in her relationship and her partner, and most people cannot do that.
