Ah, so the story is in the storm-before-the-confession phase. I suppose it’ll take another three or four episodes before they’re finally honest about their feelings for each other.

How slight is the slight romance’ in this one? Is there some progress in that direction or it’s just in background with some crumbs of it?

I put this drama on hold at episode 8. Could someone tell me if their relationship has progressed since then? I’m not expecting them to get together this early, but have they at least acknowledged their shared past, or are they still pretending to be strangers?

If you ask me, it’s really good. The story’s got me hooked, I haven’t seen a drama with a plot like this before. The acting’s great too, but what I like the most are the lead characters. Their personalities are totally my type.

Could someone explain this to me? In episode 13, the spirit official couldn’t unsheathe the Deliverance Sword because, as Duan Xu said, the sword doesn’t accept her. But I clearly remember Si Mu unsheathing the sword while killing the woman who burnt the granary. So does the sword actually accept her or not? Or was it because she was in a mortal body at the time? If it’s the latter, then does it mean that any spirit can wield the sword if they’re in the mortal body?

She is exactly how a sovereign of spirits would or should be! She has the aura that exudes ultimate power, superiority, and nonchalant grace!

Did anyone notice the faint, whitish reflection moving in the wooden frame of the bed at 03:06 in Episode 11? I don’t know what that is.

Huh? He’s only nineteen? I thought he returned being Duan Xu at nineteen, and in his mid-20s now, haha.

Can someone tell if it’s strictly legal with all of the focus on the cases or is it cases and personal life of leads?

He’ll still be able to see and hear, but of course, without colours and music. I wonder if he’ll also be able to “see” the wind after losing the colours.

Everyone’s talking about Duan Xu, and yeah, for good reasons, but I have to say I’m really drawn to He Si Mu. She has this calm, powerful aura, and the way she carries herself, her expressions, her whole vibe honestly make it evident, with no doubt, that she’s the sovereign of all spirits. Effortless majesty.

I loved it when she let him fly on her lantern-staff and lean on her shoulder. It was pretty obvious DX loved it!

I guess both will be able to retain their senses if she turns into a mortal in the end? Not gonna lie, I was, and still am, hoping for DX turning into an immortal, not the other way round. I just love Si Mu’s overpowered, nonchalant attitude as the queen.

So the spirit world arc will also be 10-15 episodes long? I had thought that only mortal realm will be in the focus. It’s good that spirit world will also be shown.

So Duan Xu will be going with He Si Mu in the spirit world?

And don’t forget them behaving as if they’re victim of some tragedy, lol. They have feelings for the FL since time memorial and choose to stay mum regarding it, until the ML decides to pursue. Then they suddenly muster up the courage and keep putting their nose wherever there is FL.

Secondary couples are kind of going out of fashion, and these days it’s more about a one-sided, infatuated SML, so it’s not surprising to see that here too.

Honestly, the main couple already has enough misunderstandings and problems; they really don’t need another one in the form of an SML.

Was there any breakup in the novel after they got together?

Till episode 9, I’m absolutely loving it. The battle scenes are chef’s kiss, and the main leads are kind of unhinged with each other, in a good way.

I was wondering if Duan Xu will have anything to do with the Spirit Realm later on, or if he’ll just stay in the earthly realm throughout. I’m guessing the focus might shift to the Spirit Realm for the Simu arc.
