It’s that usual brain-versus-heart situation. The brain knows he wasn’t at fault for the building collapse or the accident, but the heart still wants to blame everyone even loosely connected to it. It’s not about logic at that point, it’s just emotions taking over. Maybe they don’t consciously place blame, but they still don’t want those people in their life, or in the lives of their loved ones. I can understand expecting that reaction from the victim, but not from the masses.

Exactly, and that’s why it doesn’t really sit right with me that the father gives the ML another chance after just one episode. I get that he loves his daughter and trusts her judgement, but even so, it would feel a bit strange if that shift doesn’t happen in a more organic way. I really hope they handle it with care, rather than relying on a sudden eureka or some extraordinary moment. I’d imagined it might happen after the ML’s father is proved innocent but anyway.

It’s such a bittersweet feeling that it’s ending tomorrow. I was really hoping the express would drop on Tuesday, and now that it’s confirmed, I’m kind of sad.
