I know what you mean, as an avid BL watcher the poster hooked me in too 🤭 I actually went in thinking it was a bromance at first, but turns out it was meant to be a BL according to the original source material... 💭 considering the plot I understand the change, as the age gap is prominent for most of the series as it's a body swap drama... some novel readers did spoil me the ending though, so I understand why they're upset as the ending could be kept the same (*fingers crossed*). It's a really great show, I've been loving every second of it... from a BL standpoint, it leans bromance in the adaptation (thus far, not sure if the ending will change that) but the chemistry + bond between the leads is phenomenal! As someone who hasn't read the novel, the age gap would concern me if any feelings were involved during the body swap but again I don't have the foresight to know what will happen 🤷🏻♀️ love the ending as it stands, I don't see any controversy there either!
