I don’t know how I feel about that turn of events in ep 11. You bet I was celebrating when Ming said he wanted to swap them.. like, I’m sorry but I was really about to see Ming suffer on screen. Joe.. I ought to slap the hell out of you right now.
But at the same time, a part of me doesn’t want this series to roll downhill. The last few episodes were so good that I don’t want 1 episode to completely butcher it all. I’m sure that SQC helped contribute to the screenwriting one way or another, so I’m hoping that she is doing this for a reason. Until next week, I’ll just try and look for a deeper meaning to Joes decision. Is there a symbolic or poetic aspect to it that I’m missing?
Definitely stronger on the crematorium compared to the novel lol. I can imagine Yan Mingxiu and Zhou Xiang sitting in a corner eating some popcorn rn as they’re chilling it out in their ending lol
SQC, I am putting my last ounce of faith in you for being my favorite writer. Please give an ending that’s meaningful and closed.
I’m pleasantly surprised with this series so far! The two leads have so much chemistry, are good at acting, and the actor playing Taichi is sososo cute oml. Cinematography and production seems a bit low budget but if the plot makes up for it, I’m all in!
Can we take a moment to appreciate the soundtrack in episode 7? Imo, it’s probably the best episode in terms of production, cinematography, soundtrack, acting, you name it.
We got some new OSTs and that damn piano will be the death of me in the future, I swear..
i was planning to watch this drama, but upon reading the comments below, woke people becomes super sensitive,…
Don’t mind the comments! It’s a censored adaptation from a same-sex work, so many people are a bit iffy about that but so far, the show itself is really good in terms of the characterization, acting, script, and production. Just separate the show itself from the comments :)

if Joe were the captain of a ship and Ming were a siren of some sort we’d already be sinking AHSHAIDH
