Just watched the trailer. Can someone tell me if the FLs acting is good in this? She only seems to have one expression. Just so I wouldn’t waste my time
1st episode down. Initial impressions: solid acting, very impressive with PSHs characterization (Kang Bitnas mannerisms give me life), overall production in terms of cinematography and soundtrack are solid so far, lines are a bit lackluster and tacky/cliché at times lol.. but PLEASE STAY GOOD PLEASEEE
Mouse fans! If you haven’t heard, Mouse is getting an official Thai remake starring Nonkul as our cute Bareumie! Filming has wrapped up earlier this year and the series will be released next year. Hop on the MDL page to see some exclusive behind-the-scene photos and show some support :)
The scene where Jeongwoo was covering his lower face as he was looking at Boyeong’s remains is probably the highlight of the episode. BYH acted with his eyes. For a split second, it looked like he had a malicious expression that gradually softened into that of feigned concern as he lowered his hand. Definitely just a red herring hehe
Also, idk but a part of me realllllyyy wants the true culprit to be Choi Nakyeom. She’s just an odd character for me in general. I mean, she was a childhood friend of our protagonist, visited him in jail, moved away from the rest of her friends into the big city, became an actress— and that’s about it? I feel like there’s definitely more to her than what meets the eye. If she were the true culprit, I’d be kicking my feet in joy
Based on the synopsis, I hope we can get a serious FL x golden retriever ML type of dynamic. I also feel like Kang Bitna gives off Ko Koon Young vibes, so hopefully we get to see some unique outfits from her 😳
I really like how you compared her to Wen Qing; I do totally see it. Yes, and it’s also very nice not to have…
Honestly. The last high-pitched FL I could handle was Jin Mi from Ashes of Love, which was mainly because her voice dropped 3 octaves and she started gaining clarity after the redemption arc lol
If you’re unsure if this drama is worth watching, read this:
LMT: "As a couple, we’re supposed to weather the storm together. But it feels like I’m the only one living under your protection. You have never shared your concerns and grievances with me, and I have never received your trust."
CXJ: “Wasn’t that what you said before? That there is only gratitude between us and no need to weather the storm?"
Cui Xing Zhou has got to be one of my favorite male leads in a long time. He’s smart on the battlefield and in politics, is somewhat cunning and strategic, yet is emotionally dense, and is surprisingly soft spoken (which is cute, in a way). Unlike other male leads, he naturally exudes this domineering aura that doesn’t require raising your voice or oppressing others. He and LMT are literally my dream dynamic of a power-balanced couple. FL is soft spoken but sharp tongued, is independent, and is a warrior above all at that? She reminds me a lot of Wen Qing from The Untamed. It’s nice to have a mature FL without a high-pitched voice once in a while.
That’s it, I’m giving 4 Minutes a shot!

FUCKING. BRILLIANT.
CXZ ought to put a ring on it or I will.
