i keep crying... i am such a sucker for unspoken "last words". jezz. i am on ep5. what an amazing show.
On Oh My Ladylord Apr 21, 2021
The script has always been crazy but these last ep's have reach a new level. I think this is it for me. I really like the main actor. what a pity. the script is a mess. at this point i don't even care for whom she chooses in the end.

try it. i really disliked it LOL but at some point i had to force myself to finish to really have an opinion about it. i wouldn't give it a 1 though XD if any kdrama starts to feel like a 1 i drop it. who has time to watch pure garbage? xD i gave it a 6, that could be a 5 honestly aha kept watching cause i was curious to know how far would the writer go...

I am sure they wanted to express something meaningful with the message that an app cannot define your feelings…
honestly... this had so much potential. so many side characters that had amazing potential but never had a past or story to share... everything touched on the surface. even the suicides happening, they could've expressed how apps like this can destroy someone. We literally are living in a "my likes on instagram define my life's worth" generation... a lot more could be done there. The cousin had a very weird ending... i expected something else for such an annoying character... Sunoh was always the rich and beautiful boy that had to have it his way no matter what, but also Jojo just cried everytime she saw him instead of letting him go and give him closure. My true only consolation was seeing Hye Young happy. I have never seen the good guy win just for being the absolute best. I was pretty sure she would end up with Sunoh so at least i had this...

i dropped it after episode 2 because i couldn't handle how problematic the storyline is. The whole "you'll see,…
sure. ofc. i am fully aware we have different mindsets. i didn't view it in good terms, and therefore dropped it. for those satisfied and still watching it's fine. i liked the first op comment, so i left my view of it based off the first two eps. it was just that. this whole defending of a fictional character is leaving me a bit speechless. I do hope everything ends on brighter tones for all the characters and that those still watching have a great time. my initial comment stands for those who also couldnt go through it. i did not know things would lift up at ep4, so that's smt that i took from this convo. thank you for sharing your side.

ofc. what i am saying is only based off the first 2 eps. i wrote it to let people know the opinion came to be because of those 2 eps. i have not left a comment for the whole show. i bet most people that dropped it by now couldn't handle the horrible job the writers did to the ML. they could've done something a bit similar but using different filming tatics then.

the pilot episodes exist to make people hooked from the start, if you make some people that could like your final work, give up on the first 2 eps, you as a writer and director, you are not doing ur work right... this is what i meant. having the audience question your view on woman, and being missunderstood like that... would have liked the "conversations" that i found so sad and problematic to have a different twist then. making a character look this bad... what for?
like how can a story "start to look better in the episode 4"? that gives the audience too much time to missunderstand your intentions with the story.

as for forgiving a character or not, is always up to each individual viewer. cause we are all different in terms of what is excusable or not depending on how the story is presented.

i wrote especifically that i only watched 2 eps and that i gave up afterwards because of the massive bad vibes it gave me off the script and that whole moment they had close to his house. Immediatly apologizing in the next scene doesn't fix the bad behaviour, for me.

You don't need to "dear" me LMAO it's basically two very different opinions. There's a lot of good comments, go hype those up. If the story got better after episode 2 and you are loving it, great. Keep doing so. Rate it 10 stars when it's over... it's up to you.

I am stating that this kdrama didn't pass my personal vibe check, off that whole scene. I still think even the scene at the wedding venue with his sister helping him and saying "she will get over it someday and then you'll have a chance" or whatever his sister said, was also very problematic. The confessing your love in the car before you "ruin" her relationship... also problematic. For me the writers did a terrible job on the 1st two eps. If you think they didn't, it's fine. But this is my opinion, you can defend it all you want, it won't change my horrible experience while watching those 2 eps.

I don't rate kdramas if i don't complete watching. So you don't have to worry about that.

My top comments in here were always very positive... even now. When i talk about the male lead i am obviously talking about the script. Even if he has a good reason to act like that, the writers made it very problematic and vulgar. I have no trouble with the actors whatsoever, idk why you are taking it so much to heart, honestly. it's only fair to drop a work of fiction if the script is not well put together. Glad to hear the writers went back to correct that situation later on, but my opinion about the first 2 eps remains.

i dropped it after episode 2 because i couldn't handle how problematic the storyline is. The whole "you'll see, you will need me in order to move on... you'll see" atittude is so devastatingly problematic. ML looked like a soft boy and then all of a sudden thought he was the greastest man alive. Cause what are woman without a man, right? (yikes). Not to mention the photographer... Your comment was the first one that recognizes how some of these characters actually need help or a reality check. Thank you for that.

People said so in the comments. Is there not? Cause if not then everything is unfinished :o oh no

A good 7 for me. Took some points out just because i never understood how these interviews/interactive lives worked lol from a literal perspective like... cameraman... how and why? - but i appreciate the creativity!! The stories were quite amazing and had an adult feel to it. I wish we had more time with these characters though. I wanted to watch them a bit more and learn more about their personalities. Hope S02 will have them pop up in the screen from time to time, even if the focus isn't on them anymore, it would be cool to see how some of these other couples will actually end up.

I'm surprised to see all the comments disliking Lee Eun Oh's character! Honestly, at some level, I was able to…
what i can't understand about some comments it's how is one character acting selfish based on her personal insecurities, fears and traumas, is linked to not liking the show.

i don't have to relate to any character in order for me to like a character or like a show. i watch serial killer shows and i can't understand them for the life of me, although i can recognize how that fictional character may add value to the story i am watching and how it will affect other characters afterwards. i may hate a character the whole show but if the script is there to support it, then i don't mind not relating to them.

if the FL was too cold while trying to protect herself and her pretty memories, but think you would never do it to anyone ever, it's fine. But she did, we are merely watching her side of the story. ML is too clingy... well maybe he is hopelessly in love, and doesn't want to give up on that love unless there's no other option. In some degree haven't we all let other people down before, even if not like this... but like, people really can't relate at all?

i also wished love was always beautiful and easy, but we all have our own demons to deal with sometimes. after being ditched and creating a fake persona while falling in love again under those crazy times - perhaps when you get back to reality and have so many bills to pay, all of a sudden you have to prioritize youself, cause you can't afford to be rejected by the person you've spent the only good 2 months of the past year with... or else you won't have much to live on. she was holding to that fake happy persona and that summer love, to keep herself from completely falling apart.

even if i never did such a thing to anyone i can try to understand how lost she must've felt and how even if she wanted to, suddendly telling everyone your personality was fake cause you were venting out from personal problems, it sounds risky and ridiculous, cause people fear rejection more than they want to admit.

idk. i liked it all. i felt the characters struggles and pain. so it worked for me as part of the audience.

i really hope this show has a 2nd season since people are mentioning it.
the whole breaking of the fourth wall is kinda weird at first, and these "live/interactive" interviews are kinda weirdly recorded at times... like are they getting stalked 24/7 or what?! But if i let go of that aspect i really liked everyone's story so far. have no clue why so many people hate it so much, if it's the format or the plot itself. But i like it a loooot!

My advice for people thinking of watching it, is to watch at least 2/3 eps in a row, to see if you can understand the format of the show and vibe with it. If talking directly to the cameras isn't at all a problem for you, then give it a chance. Everyone's taste is different. A lot of people hate my favorite kdramas and viceversa, so try it out :)

if the next ep is indeed like a teaser for a next season i will be super happy and excited!

20 is the longest you’ve seen? :o there are some slice of life / family K-dramas that are over 30 eps lol
just checked... totally forgot about those lol think they were kdramas i watched a long time ago. Then this one was perhaps the longest i've watched this whole year. Some k-dramas are count differently though. Like "Are You Human Too?" has 36 eps here, but where i watched it, it had 18, cause it counts as 1H each. 18 is still higher than 16, but i was not recalled of clicking into more than 16 eps. Those that i have with 30 eps are for sure those that have 30min each, so in my head that's not actually 30. But hey- i was wrong!
