yeah i am pretty sure they will show us that the big brother is actually okay, even though as an younger sister, if my older sister were to treat me like coldly for years to protect me instead of being honest i would end up holding a grudge for that. Like years and years telling me "no one needs you. you dont have a family"... im sure there's other ways to protect his little brother without making him question his whole purpose on earth.

Sometimes people get together even when they know things will never workout because they are super lonely or crave those first moments in a new relationship. I think she knows how dangerous it is to fall in love with someone like him, but she can't seem to look away from that trainwreck. Even him. He flirts around every chance he gets cause i feel like he is trying to fill up the emptiness in his heart, not so much because he likes to cheat on everyone, he probably can't stand being alone with his thoughts. Might be an overanalysis on my part, but i took it like this. I feel like both of them will have a reason for being and acting the way they do.
I am so surprised people are not happy with the pilot ep. For me it's super promissing. Every line showcases the lingering feelings you have when you start to feel interested in someone (in adult age). It's a director's choice that i really appreciate. I do agree this feels very much like a +16/+18 kdrama. The characters are not even in highschool anymore (thank god), so if they want to portrait love in university years they should rank the age properly.
Perhaps i liked it so much cause i am also pro in flirting but i don't necessarily want to do anything about it afterwards, in some ways i feel like it's an ego thing or killing the loneliness for a few moments without caving into real feelings. I am interest in knowing if the ML obsession with butterflies links with an older girlfriend he had that broke his heart and that meeting someone called Nabi was like a funny thing that he didn't expect but couldn't look away from.
We are seeing things from FL perspective so i think it's quite dangerous to assume he is 100% garbage out of the glimpses we've watched. For me he looked like a really lonely person that uses these flirt moments to fill him up. But i might be wrong. I am excited to watch what the writers will do with these characters.

Oh i meant instead of all this deal FL did with the Deity, there was so many simple plots the writers could go to prior to make it like this. This is a bit messy. The cuts in post production also weird at times. I guess i miss the insane love i had for this series until ep 5/6.

Sometimes we think we still like someone like crazy from the good old days, but those people are not the same we used to like an vice versa. It's kinda like we are not in love with them but more so in love with the version of them we have inside our brains.

I like Cha Joo Ik, and the actor has a great presence, but i never liked how he just decided out of the blue to kiss a crying girl that was waiting for someone else... like who does that? and why do korean writers often think thats ok? xD that's so messed up.

from the preview we got for next week kinda looks like maybe the first time we saw Doom cry via memories was because of this...? so... are these alternative universes? parallel worlds? or the Deity did a little trick since the beginning and showed the future? like why on earth are these writers complicating the plot so much?
it would be so simple to just make Doom risk it all for her by doing good things and freeing himself from being Doom while also making the contract no longer valid. And as for the FL either make it tragic or somehow possible for her to recover on her own. You know... a basic plot?! That would give time for other characters to develop.... like when did Ji Na fell for Cha Joo Ik exactly? That went from 1.5 to 10 in 2 eps. My goodness...
episode 10 didn't make any sense to me, in pratical terms, but i love the main actors so much! i am confident the story will pick up again. i am definitely watching this until the end. 6 more eps to go :)
