i actually like the acting too. sanha i’m excited to watch continue to grow, arin is SO pretty? and it really feels like kim ji hun is kim ji eun, i’m really liking yoo jung ho. the drunk scene was… a lot of secondhand embarrassment for me haha but the scene where yunjae was splashed by the cars/bus was funny. the last scene in ep 3 where they’re playing games was beautiful. all that to say—i’m getting more from this drama than i expected. i expected some comedy but i really like how things are being addressed.
I understand why BL fans are liking this. Yes, it's a gender bender story, but the FL seems to spend more time…
just quickly—of course she spends most of her time in the male form? LOL that’s LITERALLY what the show is about; how they couple is making it through the “curse”.
i feel like most of the cdramas i watch are just things to fill in time between cheng yi’s dramas hahaha so i am waiting, waiting for his next one (if anyone has recommendations for cdramas to watch while i wait, lemme know 😉)
Nan Heng: You think he [Nan Heng] would lose his mind because of a beauty? Yi Meng: Aren’t all men like that? Nan Heng: ???????????? Gui Hong: They are! Yi Meng: ???????????????????? Gui Hong: Not me though 🫨
Please, I love this show so much. It doesn’t take itself too seriously and sometimes that is just the kind of thing you need to watch, hahaha!
thank you for the effort you put into this, it’s great! ♥️ i really love linghe; he acts well but he also has an appearance that doesn’t look out of place when he is portraying a cute character or when he is portraying a serious character. makes me want to go rewatch love crossed which is where i first came across him! also—fingers crossed for eternal faith airing one day 😩
i feel like it shouldn’t be unexpected that we didn’t get everyone’s backstory. it wouldn’t make sense to rush out everyone’s backstory… i’m sure different episodes will be more focused on different characters. we’re only one ep in, hahaha
i think it would be difficult because the jump is only 10 years and i believe han yeong would be an adult both before and after the time travel; in reality, appearance would only really change in terms of looking a bit young/older. it’s not like casting a child actor and an adult actor where you can easily suspend belief. i wonder if they will be using makeup, styling and special effects to make the time travel more believable?
either way, i think if they were to cast an actor for before/after time travel, it would be ji sung for after the time travel. guess it could still happen? i don’t think cast is fully confirmed BUT yeah, i think it’s unlikely that they’ll do that
also lmfao at people saying yun jae is homophobic because he—can’t believe that/understand why his gf turned into a boy???? imagine if this happened to you in real life LOL
it’s not homophobic just because the girlfriend presumably does not stay a guy. there are shows where people have switched bodies with people of the same sex—but no problem there? there are shows where people have switched bodies with animals—but it’s not speciest for them to switch back? not EVERY show is focused on sexuality, or not every show is focused primarily on the same.
it seems likely the focus here is on love that knows no bounds. are they using a gender-swap to show that? yes. could it be argued that there’s a queer element there? yes. but that doesn’t mean having the girlfriend’s “soul” or whatever return to her original body is homophobic!!! also just because the source material is tagged as lgbt+ (which i believe it it, it doesn’t mean this will be; both because adaptations don’t always follow source media but also because, while south korea has been releasing some great lgbt+ media recently, it’s still not super widely accepted)
People keep asking if it’s a BL or not. I mean, isn’t it obvious it’s not? There’s no tag for it and even…
also it’s just obviously not, i feel? like, isn’t the concept clearly more that he loves his partner for who they are (so even though they ‘turned’ into a boy)… of course they could keep ji eun as a boy but i doubt they will because the ending/finale is likely her returning to her actual body lol
Those 2 minutes + opening + "oh.. he's still holding him" made me get a little worried about this having 14 episodes,…
laughing because i haven’t watched it yet, i’ve literally seen ONE clip and i know exactly what you mean and relate to “oh… he’s still holding him” LOL
all of the parallels between The Ex-Morning and Singto and Krist’s real life/dynamic are making me so emo LOL. especially the conversation outside of the bar at the end of part 3. the real life misunderstanding and the series misunderstanding… ouch 🥲

i usually don’t mind spoilers but this is potentially spoiling the biggest plot point of the whole show LOL
