i love how in the next ep preview cha segye is running for shin seori but stops to look at his reflection to make himself all nice and tidy first 🤭 i really love this so much BUT wish all of the episodes dropped at once!

i think it’s two eps per week, no? but either way—i started watching a regret it LOL. i really like it. i’ve been waiting all week for the next episodes 😭

Where was she going to continue to find those older clothes? The ones in her apartment are all regular clothing. It would make less sense for her to navigate this new time period to find old clothes rather than wearing what is in her closet.

this show really makes me wish netflix still always released shows in full, all at once. i need to binge this. i love it. i love the acting 😭

“Justify”? She’s sleepwalking. There is nothing to justify or not justify. She also doesn’t know she’s done it after the fact so she can’t correct try to address the behaviour. In reality, the ML absolutely should have told her what he witnessed.

eh, if i had a famous parent who publicly pretended i didn’t exist for 30 years despite having known about me and having had contact with me, i think i would be messed up. even more so if, when the secret essentially could have been revealed, that parent instead publicly pretended not to know me in a cruel manner. so while this person gets recognised by everyone, while you have to see this person everywhere—they’ve rejected you.

even before being COMPLETELY rejected by her mother, dam ye jin was kept hidden. if this were real life, even that would be enough to cause trauma to someone (especially as a little kid; even if you don’t REALLY know what is happening, you would get a sense that you are being hidden—which would feel like being rejected, being unloved, not being good enough, being the second choice [to the mother’s career] etc.)

it sounds like the host was fired. in which case while the fact that it happened is a bad look for the company, at least they reacted appropriately. hao yiran isn’t ugly but frankly, that doesn’t matter; calling someone ugly whether it’s to their face, behind their back, on a livestream, wherever; is in really poor taste. doing so when you are literally representing a company as part of your job… well, it would be difficult to be more dumb than this host.

despite the low rating, i will have to watch this for Liu Xue Yi. i think he is probably my favourite actor. episode one didn’t disappoint but the comments make me wary of later episodes, haha

so far nothing special but it’s something to pass the time. i don’t envision it will become an amazing drama but so long as it stays at this level at least, it’s fine. i like ahn hyo seop and goo doo shim, kim bum is cute too… i doubt i would continue watching if it weren’t for them, though

y2k is also back in style, to some degree (more tame than it was back then though); i don’t know which came first but the whole heroin chic look and y2k aesthetic absolutely go hand in hand. it’s not surprising it’s cycled back in but yeah, it is a shame.

literally just thought about him the other day, wondering what he was up to. so crazy that essentially at the height of his popularity he dipped LOL. i hope he’s doing well, though

i think the reason people are complaining about the dubbing is because the mouths and the voices don’t match up though, more so than because of how cantonese sounds. doesn’t bother me, personally
