This drama was Esther Yu's father's investment!!!No wonder Esther was cast as the lead female. What a joke. And…
So you are saying she is talented, beautiful, and rich. You sound as if she took them from you. You would think if there was that kind of investment (only rumor), we could have seen Shang Que transform into the black dragon more than once.
i had it on my list, and tried 3 eps. but sorry, that era's style of clothing and dressing and overall hairstyle…
I have been watching The Blue Whispers for awhile. Only up to episode five, but I think it is my filler drama for other dramas when waiting for new episodes. I really do not like long dramas (angst and drag), but I like Hu Yi Xuan and Dilraba (yeah, I am sure quite a few do too), so I am giving it a shot. It also has CLJ's Chi Di in it.
"was she going to have some powers through wedding?" she explained it, through the betrothal pact, and the wedding…
So by seeing the future you are in essence going to change it simply by making it happen. It made more sense in my head than when I am looking at it now.
Maybe I am just more empathetic and really can feel the story. Heck, I even feel bad for you not being able to…
I have to admit I am a bit taken aback by the poster's callous comments, especially those about suicide. I hope they were able to find another drama to watch, preferably one that allows for a healthier mindset. I do think the comment is ironic considering Tomorrow was the drama mentioned.
I finally started watching this... I'm not interested at all. Does it get better. I'm on ep2. I don't even know…
I would also not find it interesting if I did not know what was going on. My advice is to not continue with it right now. It will be there to try again, and there are literally thousands of other dramas you could watch.
I like to listen to music when cleaning. I like The Imperial March because it has that gravitas that I think cleaning should have. It has no lyrics, but I just sing "clean, clean, clean...".
Why do you have find some oddball comment, share it, and proceed to make them sound even more sinister than it is probably are meant to be? I have no source to see what was actually said, but from just what you said, their assessment has some (only some) merit to it, but your conclusion goes to a really dark place.
So, finally finished watching it and it was better than what I expected, but less than what I wanted. They changed…
I think if you place a drama in the melodrama/tragedy (+romance) genre, DFQC can be whomever he wants to be. This was adapted for the Sweet On collection, so there was no way that was going to happen. I think one of the main reasons for its popularity is making it more sweet. I am watching the anime which is said to be more closer to the novel, and I would not recommend it as a substitute for the drama because it seems that different. I can understand the disappointment when dramas do not follow the source material, especially if you really liked the source material. I think that if this drama would have insisted on sticking to the source material, it would have never seen the light of day. It might not have even been given a chance to get to censorship. And if it did, it would probably have been a low budget mini-series which also would probably have not done justice to it.
Hate to say that I expected a bit more from this drama ðŸ˜
Did you have high expectations or low expectations? If you had high expectations and expected a bit more that is actually not a bad thing. If you had little or low expectations and it did not meet them, that is a different story. The only expectation I had was that JCW was going to nail his character, which he always seems to do. I am surprised that I like this drama considering tragedy, tearjerker, and melodrama are not my usual fare.

Temper your expectations for Lost In the Kunlun Mountains. The name is deceptive and the ending was edited so much it makes this drama's ending look overly satisfying.
"was she going to have some powers through wedding?" she explained it, through the betrothal pact, and the wedding…
I meant CH, but I am okay with misremembering it.
I think it was their destiny since fate had just about everyone helping out along the way. A sharp contrast to Chi Di and Rong Hao's story. I have always said that the tree mirror never showed a happily ever after, just a bride, groom, and wedding.
I think several sources seemed to indicate that the budget was a big factor. I think if dramas would start by filming the endings first, then spending the rest of the budget on everything else, it might help. Although if there is going to be something missing, probably pushing it to the end would make more sense.
It is kind of like running out of toilet paper. You figure out a way to make it work, but it is pretty annoying. It is not like you are going to stop using the bathroom, and carrying a roll around with you looks pretty silly. After awhile, you just forget why you even carry it with you and stop. Until it happens again. Yes, I know it is a crappy metaphor. Yes, I know the pun stinks too.
I just hope by the next episode they resolve the "Pulling him down into darkness Vs Pulling him out from darkness"…
I have my doubts that they will resolve his past in one episode. It means he would have to deal with Ha Joon Kyung (little sister), Jang Seok Joon (gang member), the money (apparently taken), and the big boss. All while trying to explain it all to Team Genie. This seems to be pretty serious stuff, but I do hope that it will not affect the time spent on Team Genie (with or without Yoon Gyeo Re). Everyone seems to be crushing HJK, but I would like to give her character some space to actually see what she is really about. YGR has/had his share of problems when he first arrived, and through Team Genie, he is getting better For better or worse, his past catching up with him probably marks a change for the drama. How they balance YGR's past with his present and future remains to be seen, but I hope that it does not take too long to figure that out.
Yu Shu Xin was excellent here. She played Little Orchid, DFQC, Xi Yun, and Little Orchid-Xi Yun combo. They were all her, but each was portrayed differently. When I see her name in a cast, my expectations are raised because she really delivers.
ok but i still haven't felt the chemistry between the leads yet
For me, I can see the chemistry, but it is a bit more subtle. They are falling in love at a hospice, and his past is catching up with him as well. It seems a bit more grounded and awkward than some dreamy rom-com chemistry. They definitely have their moments.
The last scene may have felt too short but the ending is really the last 2 episodes. It was wrapped up nicely.…
There is nothing wrong with saying the ending was rushed or that there were some loose ends. It does not detract from how good the drama was. Even if it might already be known, perhaps it might make a difference in the next drama that is being decided on.
I like to be the emotional scenes little less dramatic.
I find the emotional scenes lighter than what they could be. They could go dark, lingering, and soul crushing, but it is lighter, shorter, and more uplifting than a tear jerking melodrama. The drama takes place in a hospice (where patients are terminal and suffering) and the ML (and seemingly everyone who works there) has their share of problems too. This is a bittersweet drama. I guess they could be less dramatic, but I do not think it would feel right.
