Agree with you regarding Hu Yi Tian. His characters from few other dramas I had watch were similar. I am hoping…
I did not either. I just did not want anyone to confuse my assessment of his roles with his ability as an actor. I have not done any formal count, but I would imagine there are many more romantic dramas, especially for the audiences that skew younger, so it does make sense that a lot of the roles younger actors (and actresses) take are in dramas that place more emphasis on visuals and chemistry than actual acting.

I do not mean it in a personally insulting manner towards the actor, but I would hope his acting is good considering he plays the same type of character. If you like the cut and paste romantic comedy, he is one of the actors that people like seeing. Checkmate seems to be a different genre, but I have yet to see that.
I thought the episodes in the 20s were the best of the lot, especially if you were watching with the expectation that it was a Sweet On drama. I have seen worse endings, so perhaps with that perspective, it was not the worst, but much close to the worse than the best. I watched You Are My Glory before this one, and that drama was how you do endings. It seemed like the last few episodes were devoted to the ending.
30 episodes. You could have watched the first episode, and jumped to halfway and not really miss anything. The drama finally realized it was part of the Sweet On collection 2/3 of the way through. I have seen other dramas, and read articles about the Chinese dramas' use of time travel, so I kind of expected a (let me try to find the right word...) less than satisfactory ending. What I did not expect is the drama tried to be too clever for itself and attempted to add another ending to the ending. I suppose there are always ways around the limitations set upon dramas that try to use time travel as a plot device, but the ending was just not creative enough to satisfy.
I have seen Hu Yi Tian in several dramas, and he seems to play shades of the same type of character. He is really good in that role. I am currently watching the Korean drama If You Wish Upon Me, and see Ji Chang Wook take roles that stretch and test his acting ability, and hope that HYT would take roles that let the viewers see how good of an actor he is. Maybe it is harder to break out of those roles in Chinese dramas than Korean ones, but if you only have one skill, you are more likely to be replaced when someone better comes along. No matter how many moisturizing masks or serums you have, eventually we all get older. This is the first drama I have seen Chen Yu Qi in, and she made the most of her character. She did well enough for me to check her catalog, and eventually watch some of her other dramas.
I have a friend that wanted to know who was the actress that played Jin A Yin's best friend that worked under Chen Mu Mu. My friend thought she was very pretty, but not listed in the cast. That way I, I mean he... he can see if she is in any other dramas.
I find it is a bit more dramatic than I would consider for a slice of life drama. It has its moments where you might ask "are you kidding me", but I suppose there has to be some dramatic license. So far (up to episode 12), it does not seem to go overboard.
Can.Anyone clarify… Are there two different people on the fourth floor? When the doctor did a double take I…
I thought it was because everyone thinks the patient in 403 is still unconscious or in a coma. YGR knows he is not, and maybe the doctor is beginning to suspect as well.
Is this drama going to a sad ending.I saw terminal ill in tags. Please give me reply........ After that I will…
The drama's main setting is a hospice which is a place terminally ill patients go for palliative care at the end of life. There has been sad stories, but really told in a lighter way. My guess is that the ending will be bittersweet.
Watching an episode makes me feel like I am watching one of those talk shows with the lie detector and DNA tests where you know a crazy train wreck is about to happen on stage, but you cannot look away.
Junkyung's behavior is so disturbing. I'm not sure what she's been through her life, but she's psycho and manipulative.…
I have said it before, but I really like the way Won Ji An has portrayed her character. Ha Joon Kyung could have easily been some one-note character, but WJA makes her come across as someone real who says more through her emotions and body language than just her words. I think nearly everyone has done a really good job in delivering the acting to match the dialogue and story of this drama. I just think that this drama really needed WJA to have a strong performance because her present is Yoon Gyeo Re's past. While it is not exactly the same (she does have her own story), I think seeing a reminder of that life through HJK makes YGR's story seem more authentic.
I would be worried if I were Jang Seok Joon. I am not a drama writer, but his character seems like the type to lose his life and be a catalyst for WJA.
Finally, the last two episodes(21-22) seem like they belong to the Sweet On collection. Hopefully, it is not short-lived or too little, too late. There are only eight episodes left, and so much left to do.
Is this good or is this too emotional and dramatic I meant heavy drama.
If there is such as thing as a light heavy drama, I think this might be it. I think if you can make it through the first episode, then you can make it though the rest.
Was there a sugar shortage and they had to use artificial sweetener for this Sweet On collection drama? I hope they were able to source some of the real deal because we are heading into the last third of the drama and it needs some. It is not bad, but nothing really stands out as a reason for me to recommend it so far.
Maybe it was to celebrate her new job, but I am glad the FL upgraded her style to something other than comfy teen casual. At least now she compliments the ML instead of looking completely out of place.
Personal opinion I don't think his father has any right to say anything to him.Like when he said You will live…
If you are talking about Kang Tae Shik and Yoon Gyeo Re, they are not father and son. Actually, KTS was the one who advised YGR to leave if he could not take the abuse from his father. He probably was the most qualified one to tell YGR that going back would either get him killed or stunt his happiness.
I love the main couple and am guilty of watching this series a couple of times. But I have fast-forwarded the…
I saw that too. The other plots and couples were not that bad, but the main couple is just so incandescent that everything else seems so dim. Except for grandma.
